About the "Best Offers"....
I dont do best offers simply because 90% of the offers I get are extremely low ball offers and a huge waste of time. On the other hand, I keep hearing that having the best offer option really helps your sales.
The Magic number is listing, listing, listing.

That's what I found out. My sales are based on listing. At 200 items its 5--6 sales a day At 250 I magically just get bumped to 10-15 sales and its always the items that were over a month old. At 275 is when any item i have is over $75-100 sells. Never before that number. Their algorithm has made it easy for me for working around my full time job. I can setup consistently to be very busy during my days off. Your channel has helped me grow from $100 a month to $1300 a month. Thanks
I list everyday. 6 days a week. That does not seem to help either. eBay just has problem after problem. I'm getting my ass off eBay. They only way to sell on eBay is give it away for free
Using your guidance i am now bulk updating my listings. 3 days after i made consistent sales. I am up to 25 listings now. And the race is on to 200 i am doing 5 a day roughly. I will catch up and list 10 tomorrow. I made 400 in sales since you dropped this video🥰🥰🥰🥰

So, let’s understand. You usd to have 200 items but you keep active 25 and sell an average of 5 items daily. Once you sell it do you add 5 more items?

If only that’s how it worked. I’ve got 5,208 active listings in just about every category, old and NWT ITEMS. Haven’t had a single sale in 5 days. I’m active every day... either new listings, revising old ones, or ending and relisting as “sell similar items”. I’ve also sent offers and done percent off sales. Nothing works.
If you have that many items listed with no sales, either your prices are crazy, your in a very competitive category or your shipping is nuts
@@FletcherElectronics People never think "oh I might be doing something wrong here" they always blame the platform and don't take responsibility. They literally always think they have tried everything. Nobody should get up to That many listings without sales and just keep listing, that's called being foolish.
If what you do is not working and you do that 10,000 times you just did what does not work 10,000 times and expected results.
It sounds like the items you are listing have a low sell through rate. They are not desirable items.
@@la6136 Same items that other sells have sold. Nike, Adidas, New Era, clothing. All priced appropriately.
Have someone else look at your listings
Less trying to figure out how to sell on TH-cam and more real-life experience of actually learning & doing it = becoming more successful.

I have been selling on ebay in the UK for over 11 years. Everything you say is absolutely correct. I was selling fine for around 9 years but then sales started to drop and I start to think ebay wasn't listing my items correctly. It turned out it was me not being active enough on ebay not changing thing up and putting new items on.
I realised eventually after spending a lot of time with ebay customer support that I needed to be more active on ebay and everything you have said is what I did. My sales are much better now.
I have an eye for talent and watching your video for just the first 2 minutes, I can see you would be an extremely good at acting, you should try out some auditions. You look just like Sandra Bullock in her early days. Please try it out.

My store is a year old now. I was at 400 items in August and was selling 150 items per month. i doubled the size of my store through October, now my sales are down to 140 per month after more than doubling the size of my store! I don't get it. At 400 items the store sold 150/mo without much effort, now I have 1100 items listed, and it's down to 140/mo! I know there are a lot of factors, but sales were going great until Nov. 3, then everything hit the wall! Thanks for the video!

Awe bless your heart. Try looking up the sales comp first before buying an item. That way you will know how long it will take the item to sell. I personally buy items that sells at least 3 times a week. The seller should reconsider trying to sell what they want to sell or think what should sell, and do the research and buy things that actually sell and know how fast an item will sell. That way your more in control of your sales. Wishing you all the best. Cheers!

I’m a new reseller I’m branching to other items besides clothes my December sales really sucks. Today I’m so proud of myself I bought a Nikon camera for 25 dollars still have the box and accessories on Facebook. I finally got around to listing it today, not even a minute after I listed it. It's a numbers game. The more you list, the more you "potentially" sell. Which, is completely dependent upon what you're selling...garbage in, garbage out.

Tip... Evo denture adhesives were selling for $7. The manufacturer went out of business. I had 3 box's...all sold in 24 hours at $60 a box😁 everyone else was listing for $70-75😲Wow...I wish I could find more!

Terrific info and absolutely true--I have a small store--but I always say it's a busy little store! In the last couple of weeks, I've wanted to slow down due to the USPS mess--and I've done almost nothing in my store--I have a ton of listings ready to go--but I've listed nothing new--I've done no promotions-or sent any offers--and it shows.

Lindey you are absolutely correct. I've been an e-commerce seller since 98' and another thing worth mentioning (in addition to different "types" of sellers/accounts) is this: different levels of HUSTLE. Let's be honest - there are a lot of sellers (especially new ones) who compare re-selling to unemployment/stimulus benefits. They think it won't take much work to get paid. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is HARD work and to the victor goes the spoils. You will get out what you put in and you will reap what you sew - I can promise you that.
