Oh wow, such a wonderful and cool center of the geode. A 3 way middle that looks so chaotic and random. This is truly a work of art one can proudly wear and show off for sure.
Normally I would agree with you about the grey, but to me, it really works on this shirt. I was questioning all the colors you put down, but I take it back. ALL those colors are PERFECT. I see a photo from above off a group of tropical islands so close, it's shallow in between. Love the geods surrounding your focal point. Overall, it's an outstanding shirt. I'm going to have to order more blue dyes!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much, I'm really glad you like it! I'm glad you like the gray too. The more I look at it, the more it grows on me. 🙂 The center does look like a grouping of tropical islands - I never saw that until you mentioned it. 🌴
I think it came out beautifully! The silver lining is nice, I like using it often, but I use it for smaller areas as accent to separate darker colors. I'd be happy with this shirt just the way it is!
I love your geodes, Angie, they are always so interesting to look at. I love your colors. I just bought 5 pounds of Elven Lily from Dharma. The splits are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
The grey reminds me of rock, which feels fitting, but I see what you mean about it. Maybe it's not similar enough to the other colours to feel like part of the same family but not different enough to contrast, or something. Still a very cool shirt, though! 💙
I personally would swap out the silver lining for either a darker gray (timberwolf maybe?) or more Celadon, I think that this shirt would really beninfit from some more pale green. Still a really pretty shirt.
Angie, did you not pull the sinew as tight on this shirt? i am not seeing many pronounced white lines. you may have stated that you weren't going for that effect but i don't remember. hehehe the colors are beautiful. good job!
I thought I did, but it looks like I didn't pull them as tight as usual. This was one of the first geodes I tied after surgery and I must've been a little out of shape. 😂
I really like it. If you remember correctly I said I was gonna make a geode shirt for my son. I had to make sure the shirt was completely dry before I started applying the dye. Well today I can start putting the dye on. I will cross my fingers. Wish me luck.
I personally don't have any experience using a sinew alternative. I know some have used dental floss, but I personally haven't tried it. If you are having difficulty finding sinew in your area, here is a link to where I purchase mine from Amazon. amzn.to/2EF28Lu

Thank you so much! I'm glad you like it, the Silver Lining is starting to grow on me on this shirt. I like it more the longer I look at it. 😀

Thank you, I'm glad you like the shirt! I think the Silver Lining so different that it draws my eye to it, which I don't like. 🙂
Thank you for your fascinating videos!

What size shirt is this?
@@Hogle2doj It is a size Large. I don't have it listed on my website yet, but it is for sale.
@Fun Endeavors Thanks for your response. I needed an XL. 🫤
hi, what alternatives to sinew would you recommend?

Some dog toys make great sinew pullers.
That's a great idea! They are usually quite sturdy too. 😀

And cheap!
@@cachecow That's a bonus!
The final result almost looks like a monkey face in the tie-dye patterns.
I think it is funny how many faces and things show up in tie dye patterns. 😀
the shirt is dry
Yes, I dyed it when it was dry.
