TRUST THE MUCK!!! I like it. It's a little dark, but, yes, it came out good! Yes, a little but too much, but not really. Love the geods, came out the way you wanted, love it. I might not do the colors again, but I do like it! Thanks, Angie!!! 🥰🥰🥰
The shirt is dark, however, I can see this being a shirt a man would wear. I love how much information you are giving for all dyers, new beginners and those who ha e been dyeing for a while now! Great tutorial Angie!
I love the geodes but more can be too much, like you said. I, too, would love to see you repeat this but not in the muck. I agree with Molly. I do love your experiments, Angie, and the shirt is still cool. Thanks for sharing.
Love how it turned out, and I'm definitely in the "more is better" category when it comes to colors. To me some of the "muddy" nature of the shirt is a plus and adds to the earthy-ness of the geode pattern making it look more like an actual stone. Either way, there's no wrong way to tie dye, and I always love your videos! Keep up the great work!
the thing is Angie, the shirt looks more natural to me than most geodes do but it's sad seeing so many colors got lost in the process. i've been paying attention to how you are tying up the geodes. i'm taking notes. i ought to be starting tying mine up within the next few days.
I agree - a lot of colors did get lost on this one. It was a fun experiment, but I don't think I'll use this many again. I didn't realize just how many Happy Cat colors I had. 😀 I'm excited to hear how your geodes turn out. Truly - make them messy and they will be fabulous!
I love your geode ties, very unique and wonderful. When you said at the very beginning "all the dyes" I thought it might be a bit too much. It turned out dark and with great darker colors which is a plus. But I do think that was too many dyes at once. Thank you for experimenting and testing things for others to see, like, dislike, do, or not do themselves. You are a font of knowledge.
@@FunEndeavors i’m about to wash out my violet skies twist, but I had a whole bunch of rainbow shirts for an order I had to do first. I’m very excited😁✌️
I’m a guy, and the shirt looks great! If you could, why not try making a geode pattern with strictly cami colors. Something fun for wearing around the camp site. Thanks for the great video. 😊😊
Your geodes are so cool! I like the darker colors with pops of light. Probably could have gotten the same effect with half as many colors and half as much dye. I do like where the color splits show. Doing geodes looks like so much work but the end result is amazing. And you have done 1 small geode all by itself on a shirt before, right? Thanks for another wonderful video.
Thank you! Geodes are some of my favorites. I agree - I think this shirt would've looked great with less dye colors. It's always fun to try something new though. Yes, I've done several single geode shirts. 🙂
I learned the hard way to place my first geode on the front of the shirt about 3/4 of the way down. That way, there are no 'oops my shirt has boobies' accidents, lol! I like my geodes about the same size as the ones in this shirt, although I do the technique of putting the dye on every segment. Takes a lot longer, but I think it uses less dye over all, and then I let it soak in the muck for 24 hours.
It's especially wise to plan out the geodes on the front of the shirt. I usually put the dye on each segment as well, especially when I am rack dyeing my geodes. It does take a little longer, but I have more control over where the dye goes.
just lil something to tthink about, Dye kills plants, and microbes in soil. and is proably not delt with correctly by the local DWP. try disposing of it in your yard and see shat happens to your plants . the stuff is toxic. but you have realy cool deesigns doe...
I like the colors dark like that. I think it looks earthy like a real geode ❤ thanks!
Thank you so much! 😀

I think it looks awesome! I'd wear the heck out of this.
Thank you so much! 😊
The geodes are fabulous! I personally love the darkness of the colors in this shirt. It really allows the bright colors to pop.
Thank you! 😊

Thank you! I think in this case, more is a bit too much too. 🙂
Beautiful!!! Love it!!! With the colors being darker and splitting with the lighter colors makes it look more realistic and natural. My kind of jam
Thank you! It is a little dark, but that's kind of my jam too. I'm glad you liked it! 😀

I think the shirt looks really cool, but I think with happy cat dye less is definitely more. Her stuff does so much work for us have a great day.😁✌️
Thank you, I agree! 🙂

Great experiment Angie! Great geode shapes!
Thank you so much! 🙂

That sounds like a great idea! 😀
Great experiment! I like the kind of muddy effect, it's really different, but I agree that fewer colours would let them show their true potential.
❤️
Thank you! 🙂
I like it. I love the geodes and the grays that came out. 💗
Thank you so much! 🙂

I love how you tie your geodes. I think the colors mudded together because you muck dyed. Maybe DUI?
Thank you! Yes, the muck didn't help with the muddiness either. 🙂
Nice job
Thank you! 🙂
Perfect!!
Thank you! 🙂

I agree, it is still a pretty shirt but it would have been prettier with fewer colors that went together better.
I agree! 🙂
Cool!

I’d love to see the same process, but not in the muck.
That's an interesting idea. 🙂
