You're thinking of the southwestern US, a site in what's now Pasadena. The PPD chased the rock band "Mammoth" off a cliff for rockin' too hard. The band survived and escaped, but had to change their name to Van Halen, to avoid further prosecution. Hope this helps!

Yea it would be a cool fight. Palaeoloxodon is quite a bit larger so t rex would probably get intimidated. And it could run it over. The t rex on the other hand has its powerful bite that can really damage the elephant if it can dodge the tusks. It could go either way.

I think there is a site in Canada where they chased mammoths off cliffs.
I know they roamed over western Canada , but never heard of a kill site in Canada
