    Wow! Great video! Very descriptive of the processes used to clean the rims. I just bought a new to me car and it's practically spotless with no rust, scratches, etc. But the rims look pretty dirty and possibly pitted. I came here to learn how to clean them and I learned a lot! Never heard of brake dust until now and it's negative effects on rims. Thanks for sharing that! 😊

    Brief and easy to understand. You have product links below. It would have been helpful to show examples of the various products you recommend. So we can read the label title.

    I think that was a little more dirt than just hitting a mud puddle lol...looked like the brake dust was on those wheels for at LEAST a week. Regardless it made for a great tutorial ;)

    I’m excessive, I rinse, spray the wheel down with wheel cleaner, let that soak/drip for a bit, then rinse again, then soap cannon my wheel and then use a brush from my soapy bucket

    I have been watching quite a few of your videos. They are great. My biggest question is how do I decide on what one of your products to use. I seen on your website, you have Sticky Citrus, Diablo, Signature Wheel Cleaner, Decon PRo Iron Remover and Wheel claner. How should I choose one over the other?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Keith! Thanks for reaching out. I recommend using Diablo Wheel Cleaner for routine cleaning and either DeCon or Sticky Citrus for heavy messes.

    Okay! Why did they edit the video with the amount of gel when added to the bucket? Seems like they added one ounce to a three to four gallon buck?

    • @ChemicalGuys

      Hey Elmer! Thanks for tuning in. Add one to three ounces of Diablo Wheel Gel to a five gallon bucket for proper dilution.

    Hey guys awesome video. I have already applied jetseal and max coat wheel guard, so now next time when I want to wash my wheels again if I use decon and diablo gel will that remove the protection or not?

    • @ChemicalGuys

      Hi Dimitris! Decon Pro and Diablo Gel are both pH-balanced formulas that will not strip off any protection off your wheels. Happy detailing!

      623loverboy i have off road black wheels and my wheels on my car are black there ray gram lights so aftermarket and I wouldn’t recommend using a brush because it will leave fine scratches on the paint I use wheels woolies and make sure it’s well lubricated I haven’t had issues after not using”SOFT WHEEL BRUSHES” wheel woolies are the best option just search them up
