Destiny Frontiers might be the last chance Bungie has to save the game!
Bungie has one of the most dedicated player bases on the planet and it would be a shame to continue disrespecting them...

Bungie wants to appeal to hardcore gamers who don't have other life outside of playing 24/7. The fact that they can't scale their dungeons according to team size speaks volumes. Yes, the look and feel is right, but the grind is horrendous and the constant nerfing of weapons and abilities is disgusting.
Their response to bug is preferential- if the bug helps gamers to complete an activity faster it is fixed between 1-2 hours, but when a bug disables players then it takes up to months.
All content outside of raid and dungeons is for casuals. Hardcore players only get 3 or 4 pieces of content a year that provides a bit of challenge. Also if you're complain about dungeons being hard to do outside of a 3 man fireteam that's the point it provides more challenge. And ability and weapon nerfs are fine it keeps the sandbox fresh.

Bungie only listens to elite content creator streamers/TH-camrs (no lifers). They listen to Saltagreepo worlds 1st raider & made the game for him and now he’s the only one left playing.
Pushed all the casuals and any potential new players away.
@EchoDoctrine please do enlighten me on how the devs only listen to hardcore players? Because from all I've seen they listen to casuals the most, take the most recent pvp and trials rework removing all skill from the playlist so bad players can reach the lighthouse. Even the seasonal content has been dumbed down and made easy
The only content bungie makes for the hardcore is raids and dungeons. Which only 5% of the playerbase do while the rest are mindlessly running strikes and throwing comp games then going on to complain how the devs focus on hardcore players. Wait... that's you 😂
I blame the entire studio look at Warframe they are constantly evolving that game. Its overwhelming. They love what they created Bungie just got greedy!
This was a great video. I'm actually a destiny player from destiny ONE the dark below times(expansion)& playing destiny 2 to this day. I agree. I would never play marathon, and i'm definitely a bungie can do no wrong type of guy. I would hope yr right about Destiny 2 frontiers being something super huge. 👌

Yes and no. I agree with you on the battle pass point. But the 2nd game was to update the tiger engine that the game runs on to allow more to be done in game. D1 was very limited technology wise.

Watch as codename frontier actually deletes all the content with the reason being we are on another part of the galaxy.
I will not go back to play the game until all content is put back into the game, all patrol spaces, all raids, all campaigns, all seasons, all battle passes.
If Deep rock galactic can do it so you can choose which season you want activated, Bungie can do it too.
What's the point of bringing stuff back if all the loot it offers has been power crept? No one would play it.

The patch for Lion Rampants stealth buff released with TFS that allowed ADS in midair absolutely crushed my enthusiasm for playing. It felt like a meaningful boost in utility for a 7 y/o underused exotic.
What made me drop was the lack of content for pvp. Not saying game modes or nothing but just the lack of maps. It got stale playing the same few maps over and over.
haven't played for 5 months since the grandmaster strike dropped out, now i feel i wanna play the game but i don't wanna pay for dungeon keys + season thing :D

They milked it so hard that they used every feature they could have used for a good destiny 2 like they jumped to it from 1
ngl i started playing d2 like 3 days ago and im falling in love with it the gameplay the randomness the enemies and im not into leaving so i hope that bungie do something to bring the players back

As a 10 yr player I’m just genuinely curious, I know which doors enemies spawn from in every location and it never changes and enemies do same patterns at each location. I’m just curious what you mean by this, no hate, just curious from a different perspective.
Just like you i consider myself a casual player, i have done some raids and i loved them but i didnt manage to make any friends and i was forced to use lfg, since i am a casual player i was always the first one to be blamed when something went wrong.
I will probably never play destiny again unless they make it possible for solo players to do raids and dungeons.
That's an absolute poor take. Raids are not meant to be done solo and it shouldn't be solo-able although some players find ways to do it, kudos to them. You can solo dungeon although it requires time and work. Just like you I'm a casual players and don't make friends and always use LFG but I never have been blamed for anything if something went wrong. If I did do something wrong I'll take the blame or own up to it. The amount of hand holding and bottle feeding you casuals want ruins the game, you just want everything to be handed to you and easily. What's so hard about LFG? I've had way more success than failures on LFG.
@Saidoches i agree with you on the raids and, to some extent, dungeons although dungeon are a cake walk in a firesteam and definitely not as a solo and that's shitty. On the blame thing i think he means he as a casual not him himself gets a lot of blame for shit in destiny and he's right casuals are blamed for shit all the time by the community like you are literally doing right now ffs
@MrDekasOne I wanna play solo because i dont wanna be a burden on my fireteam, I know that there are people in this game who play like 4 hours a day every day, that's not my case. There are a lot of players who don't care if this system drives away casual players like myself as long as they feel special, unfortunately.
I have had so many cases where I spent 40 minutes in lfg looking for a fireteam only for the fireteam to disband halfway through a raid because we couldn't do enough damage in a damage phase also personally I find playing with randoms to be usually a terrible experience, every one is always so toxic and will throw you under the bus after a single mistake.
@silentsigma2917 i agree with you mate I've only done a couple of runs of deep stone crypt with the clan that I'm in that's now basically dead, but I do think that raids should be for teams only, everything else nah, not having matchmaking on everything else or make it so solos can do it is detrimental to the game because the majority of players are casuals who do not have the time or the patience to lfg. I'm 40 married two kids I don't have time for bs and toxic team mates like one time I did the dungeon grasp of avarice with lfg and the others tried to run me into every trap in the dungeon because I put in the lfg first time run it was annoying af because I had watched a video i knew about the traps your not being funny just annoying and making it take longer than it needed to, I'm still yet to do dual destiny for exotic class items because lfg is so annoying
@@MrDekasOne I've been in countless LFG group and I have not come across groups that just points their fingers at casuals for mistakes. The only time I'll get frustrated is if I'm running a kwtd group but casuals join in not knowing what to do and expect a carry. If it's a learning run then that's different, you need to make mistakes to learn. But I'm sorry, most casuals just want things handed down and expect things to be easy or be carried.

I remember a couple of years ago there was a huge exodus of players from WoW to FFXIV. Most creators moved to making FF content, praising that game and shitting on WoW. WoW was generally conidered to be on its death bed. Fast forward to today... FF is being shit on and FF creators are streaming WoW XD
All it takes is a couple of good expansions to bring people back. Now... if those expansions dont come then yes D2 is fucked but Im not writing it off just yet.
