    It's beautiful1 I started doing them on my bar/rings very recently, I feel Great! especially my shoulders benefit from doing swings! I do them before my work out as a good warm up. Thanks I put swings into part of my routine!

    Very Insightful. Thanks. I will turning 40 next year and never have i ever done monkey bars before. I got a chance to watch your other tutorial that teaches Side Swing for beginners. I have started to incorporate Side Swing over the Monkey bar along with some parallel bar workouts. My monkey bar progression seems accelerating and i feel far more stronger than i was in my 20s.
    Love from India🙏

    Great video! I definitely need to move on from beginner monkey bars to the bent arm - it’s just hard to do so initially if you don’t already have the strength. But as you say, the best way to get better is to do it! Warm regards from your biggest fan EVER!!!!!!!!!! 😂

      Yes everyone likes a long set of monkey bars 😁🐒 unfortunately they are hard to find!
      You’d generally have to look for an obstacle course racing venue to have a chance of finding a good set

      I wouldn’t know to be honest but I can give you the website for the manufacturer! You may be able to get some info from there??
      It’s a French company 🐒

      Wow good on you!
      I’m not sure to be honest. I have tried to have a look for you! It seems there are lots on the market so it probably comes to down which brand is most likely to deliver to you?
      I’ve seen BarManiaPro which looks like several of the rigs I’ve seen on various people’s social media posts but yeah, like I said it may well come down to logistics!

      Set up wise it all depends on what you’d like, how you wanted it!
      I know of a few people who have used scaffolding as rigs/monkey bars! Another option is to build it yourself or have someone build it for you

      @@rikkinetic Thanks! Hope to see something soon. I started out doing monkey bars about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Just doing dead hangs, active hangs and scapula pull ups (maybe the wrong name - where you shrug your shoulders and go from active to dead hang). Really need to drop some weight though - 6 ft and about 95 kgs. Way too heavy!
      Great content though! Give us more!!! :D

    • @rikkinetic
      @rikkinetic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes active hangs/scapula shrugs will definitely help 💪🏼
      There’s a “shuffle” technique you may be able to do if you have a long enough straight bar or parallel bars!
      I will do a video on it even if it’s just a short 😁🐒

    I kinda new to monkey bars and the straight arm technique is putting a lot of pressure and pinching my shoulder joint.. any tips? I'm a regular at the gym and can military press 100 lbs .. but straight arm monkey bars feel like my shoulder joint is "pinching" .. I'm 185 lbs

    • @rikkinetic
      @rikkinetic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe some general mobility work will help! Lat stretches from all angles.
      Try rolling the lats too and all the muscles around the scapula. Use a ball if you can.
      Try that as it may help but it may just be something that improves the more your body adapts to the movement

    I Wanted to Ask That What is the Best way to do Monkey Bars? In Which Position do Our Muscles Work Most? I Want to Gain more Muscles.
    Is it the Normal One, The Feet Climbing One, Or The side Ones? Or maybe Another one?

    • @rikkinetic
      @rikkinetic  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say the upside down crawl works the most muscles at once, it’s a full body exercise, so it’s good from that point of view!
      Any technique with arms bent will build the most strength/muscle - that is, lats and biceps especially 😁💪🏼🦍
