Troy Larson-I need to ask you a numb question. How well did the ecoboost hold up for you?I'm a little wary of them as I'm a big believer in keeping things simple. Thanks!
Absolutely love our Flex!!! The EcoBoost is phenomenal! With just a little tweaking our Flex has gone from a 6 second 0-60 MPH down to a stunning 4.3 seconds! We' had it for almost exactly one year and have 43,000 miles! The Flex has become my favorite vehicle! Oh, and I do really like the changes they made for 2013!
Went to New York last October and I was surprised by this Ford, it was full of them and I really loved it! The sharp edges, the minimalistic design etc, I really liked it! The only thing missing -in my opinion- is the power rear window, like old station wagons (like the Roadmaster). Beautifull! Greeting from Uruguay
Drove a brand new Flex 1000km as a rental for a business trip and damn it's certainly a SUV to consider if you're buying. The Flex handles very well almost like a car, engine is peppy and mileage was not bad at all. It was also so packed with features I was surprise it didn't come with a toaster
Try to look for tha limited/titanium models. I did not like it from the beginning. But it grew up on me. Now I have the same Flex that is featured here. We are very pleased with it.
Yes exactly, this car goes directly back to american automobile roots of pure impracticality. It's what I love about america, massive engines that are built just to be impractical!!
I have a Honda Element and love it. This reminds me of a luxury extended version of it. The only things I don't like are the lines on the side and how low it sits.
I think this would do nicely with a clean burning diesel. Probably jump the MPG to about 30 or 40. Though you might lose some speed, it's not a race car. All you need is enough torque and speed to be comfortable on the interstate. Price is a bit high for my taste, but it is a big thing so it's to be expected. I'm sure soccer moms love it.
Just what I'm looking. I'm young but want a modern 5 seat suv to occupy my friends and family. The sun roofs are great and the mini fridge is a plus. But I'm disappointed in the lack of space while the back seats are folded up. Now the price isn't so bad neither.
This car is great and it reminds me of my moms new 2012 Toyota Sequoia! This car is better than the last model and all I can say is HOLY SHIT! I want one!
Having driven and ridden in this car, it's pretty cool. It looks kinda ugly at first, but it does grow on you. It definitely is the ultimate road trip vehicle.
Ford Ecoboost - kicks ass in the F-150 (same HP rating as the ecoboost in the flex) so I'm sure it kicks in the Flex. Only diff. is that the F-150 motor has 425 lb ft. of torque.
The flex isn't really "pretty" but it's a unique alternative than a minivan for a family. It's something that stands out, with a great interior. It's not a bad buy, but I wish they made it just a little more aerodynamic on the outside.
when it came out i didnt like it... but as others it grew on me.. my wife and i test drove one and i fell in love with it...she did not thou... the only problem i have is... why cant it have better fuel managment... like above 35 mpg... id buy this car in a heart beat if that was the case..disapointing it is
So is this what replaced the Windstar? And are Fords any good thse days? i feel like fords/chevy's are not reliable / quality not good like always. But times have changed right.... I don't think they live upto honda/toyota quality yet. However - I gotta say I do like the Flex for a future i've my family
im surprised that it doesnt have a clamshell hood like the explorer, but i like the car regardless as for fuel economy its not bad considering how big and heavy this car is.
I bought this exact car, same color, everything, with the EcoBoost and AWD, and I have never loved a car as much as this one.
3yrs later...how is the ecoboost holding up ?
@@deeblue984 3 hours later I second this
@@deeblue984 good question. I have a 2018 ecoboost and I'll update here.
@@bill5281 im looking to get a 2019 ecoboost not many around . hope to get it.

I constantly on the watch for Flex review. And this is by far the best review available on YT.
This is the best review for Ford Flex 2013 that I have seen so far.

My favorite car is the flex. I just bought the flex limited with the titanium package. Beautiful car
I love the flex it is so comfy. It is like a luxury car. My neighbors has a fridge in the second row

Still the best Flex review in YT.
I have a 2013 flex ecoboost and it is powerful cool and comfortable its worth every penny
the BEST car for road trips with the family.
About to go get me one this month and I am so excited. ..
your cute
Did you ever get your flex and if so do you like it? I'm in the market for one.
Great review. You have the potential to become the best in youtube.
Autobytel Open Your Eyes!!!
The New front is a step up in the looks department and it's sad that you folks don't see that....

These are some nice cars. Great ride and they handle very well. I had the opertunity to drive a 2012 and it was very smooth and powerful.
Try to look for tha limited/titanium models. I did not like it from the beginning. But it grew up on me. Now I have the same Flex that is featured here. We are very pleased with it.
Beautiful flex
Ford did a nice job here. Its nice to have an alternative to minivans and large SUV's.
Great car, just got my 2013. For some people it works, others it don't
Yes exactly, this car goes directly back to american automobile roots of pure impracticality. It's what I love about america, massive engines that are built just to be impractical!!
True, I like it too, didn't at the beginning but I do now, and yeah wonder why it does not sell more...
That new facelift is sick
Perfect road trip ride
That is awesome! I have a 2012 Explorer XLT, but would love to have this as an addition!!
I love my Flex!
Does the driver seat sit as high as a regular minivan or is it the same as a standard car
This guy looks like Zach Braff. There I said it. Great wagon, low ride height, not too bulky, great space for dogs in the back, awesome cruiser.
I have a Honda Element and love it. This reminds me of a luxury extended version of it. The only things I don't like are the lines on the side and how low it sits.
The Ford Flex is my favourite SUV in the world
flex looks awesome!!!!
It looks like a concept car, so awesome. Looks expensive too. Ford designers are on a roll.
man you have driven this car.... it is toooo goood.
looks like ur sitting higher....does the backs seat sit up higher than the front ones ?

This car has it all! Love it!
Really I see them everywhere? Where are you from.....Canada
I like the car and the vid!! Subscribed

I want one of these sooo bad.
that flex is very very nice they should sell more of em i see no flaws in it just a perfect suv crossover whatever
What a great car, very cool, great design. Ford could/should import these to the UK & Europe, it would make a great limited edition car.
I test drove one of these 2 weeks ago and it is fast as fuck! Insanely comfortable too!
One of my favorite cars
i loved it
and next weak i am gonna buy it
must have awesome station wagon..
I checked fueleconomy.gov, they're almost identical, off by one MPG. I've had good luck with Ford vehicles.. but the Equinox is pretty nice.
Damn that is high!!!! our 2013 LTZ Suburban was just over $60 grand.
Best car forever
Owned Flex for a year now. Clumsy in tight parking space.
Good car. I like it.
Why they don't sell it in Russia? =(
How much is the ecoboost
looking to buy 1 on monday
I like the new design of this car better than the old one. It was something about the eyes of the car I didn't like.
This car is ridiculously expensive. But I still want one. The manny van...here I come.
It was funny that he said there isn't any competition for this vehicle, and at the end of video they show the competitors.
Hagan un revisado completo del Ford explorer sport 2013 éxitos saludos desde Perú...!!!

y cant ford bring the flex to the uk ye never know it could b a good seller thanks mark from liverpool uk
those are VERY good looking.
this is a beast
It's basically if a Lincoln navigator and a Ford expedition had a baby haha
This vehicle should have been fitted with rear wheel drive and given to the police to replace the crown Victoria and the NY taxi
Nice watch dude.. Saw it selling on Ebay for $5 bucks..
1:15 rear hatch opener tube is very 2000 late, not.
Damn your American pricing! In Canada, a loaded flex limited tips just over $60 grand
when it came out i didnt like it... but as others it grew on me.. my wife and i test drove one and i fell in love with it...she did not thou... the only problem i have is... why cant it have better fuel managment... like above 35 mpg... id buy this car in a heart beat if that was the case..disapointing it is
I love my Flex. My friends call it my "Manny Van"!
These are basically obsolete where I live. Idk why though. They seem pretty nice. But they definitely don't sell.
The Flex is a nice vehicle but the body gaps aren't always good on some of them.
It reminds me of a bigger Mini Countryman!
Looking at this and GMC Acadia
I see the XL version of Toyota BB year 2000
Haters, this car is dope
Nice car
The third row is actually the roomiest third row I've ever sat in that is not a minivan...
Nice car, will wait until these get a few years old and buy a used one.
Drive one and you will say the Range Rover is a "wannabe"...
Don't like that they didn't put the badge on the front of the car.
I have exactly like that one.
man dat ecoboost gets very good power for a car dat size
والله حلو كم سعرها
أتوقع 120 الف او اكثر
Did he really have to count the seats...
So is this what replaced the Windstar? And are Fords any good thse days? i feel like fords/chevy's are not reliable / quality not good like always. But times have changed right.... my opinion looks like a range rover thats a good and i like it coz its better priced but they need to bring the older front face>>>
I like the Flex. I have no idea why it does not do better. Lmao at the spaz.
If I had kids I would debate on getting this or a honda crossover
Well, if you don't mind shelling out $32,000.-$44,000. and only getting 18/25 mpg, this looks like an interesting vehicle that has a lot to offer.
nice
Actually the Flex is selling more units than the new Explorer, look it up!
no word about laggy interface of the in4tainment system?
Pearl Jam! Nicce joice!
They just did with the new F150!
im surprised that it doesnt have a clamshell hood like the explorer, but i like the car regardless
as for fuel economy its not bad considering how big and heavy this car is.
ترا عندنا زيها لونها اسود مرررره حلووووه
Gah I want one of these
Range rover mixed with ford , but it's still sexy
