Golden Gate Park San Francisco! So beautiful! After the 1906 Earthquake and fire, the ‘park’ was still sand dunes…not yet developed. My great grandmother buried her cut glass punch bowl in the sand in case of aftershocks. People camped out, homes destroyed. We still have the glass punch bowl and my son is the 5th generation living in San Francisco.
