Easier said than done. There’s billions at stake here, and their owners aren’t just going to walk away from it just because the natives are getting restless - they’ll sell up if they receive an offer that’s high enough and not a minute before, and that decision will have precisely nothing to do with any action the supporters have taken. What stood out along with the appalling negative play was Hughton giving last minute instructions to sub Madders and Ange could not even look the subs in the eye and had zero to say?! So, we finally got rid of our deadwood this summer. But the reality is that we now have a host of new deadwood (and some old that are still here).
Forster, Davies, Sarr, Johnson, Odobert, Richarlison, and Werner for sure. Solanke looks as close to a £65 million player as I do too.
By no means are Bergvall and Gray deadwood, but two things are absolutely certain. They aren’t generational talents, and they aren’t ready to start in Premier League games.
Ange seems to have reached the beginning of the end like so many managers before him. I don’t blame managers anymore though, the infection running through this club starts at the top. There won’t be any success here with Levy in charge.

Savva only used 32 games to suit his narrative, why not judge Ange on the 42 games he has been in charge instead? In his 42 Premier league games only Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa have gained more points. Those teams had managers in their jobs a lot longer with more transfer windows than Ange has had. We should judge any manager at the end of the season and not put more pressure on them after only 4 games this season.
