Chris here is right - Ange and players were emotionless. Daniel Levy sucks the soul out of managers, players and fans. I have loved this club for 19 years and since Poch it feels like torture and since last season its a struggle to give a sh1t. In the short term Ange Out is a solution! But this is not THE solution

Spurs are like the equivalent of the aliens from the John Carpenter film "They Live" - who've brainwashed the fanbase into mindless consumerism through subliminal messages like "trust the process" "generational youth project", "game changing stadium" etc.
Savva your like Roddy Piper in the film, with the pair of sunglasses that can see through the messaging and the nonsense - trying to get other fans to see what's going on as well, but at the moment it is like that scene in the film where he's having a fight in a car park with Keith David over the glasses. For me the writing on the wall came after the City game last season. They board know Ange isn't the man, but cannot sack because that puts Levy in jeopardy. Ange doesn't want youngsters.. he has never used youngsters, but what does a board do when you cannot sack a manager, you instead buy kids for the future coach's after Ange. Ange dead man walking, with the board waiting for it to get so bad.. that its then looked upon Levy is a hero for getting rid.

I think Potter would be great for where we are as a team. If we one one lost one drew won etc.. whilst we are building that's ok, but this team is getting worse.

His unwillingness to adapt is plainly obvious to see…..the players passing the ball sideways, backwards & sideways again is their defiance to him: we’ll keep on playing crap until you change or you get sacked!
Last night was an embarrassing performance. The quality throughout the squad is dreadful. You couldn't tell who the Premier League team was for most of that game. The result has saved Ange’s job temporarily and has delayed the inevitable. I for one will be glad to see the back of him.
Transfer window was a cost cutting exercise 100%, if we don’t move Postecoglue on then the young players with potential will regress under his lunatic Tactics. But I still hold Levy and the board responsible for recruitment and appointing a PE teacher of a manager.

I think Ange has himself switched off to a degree personally I think Levy & board have pulled the rug out from underneath him, he was fully expecting 3 established names for the first 11 not just squad, to me Ange looks like a guy who’s got burst tyres, belief appears to have gone, which will domino on to players in no time whatsoever.
No cracks have been paper overed. Anyone that watches and loves the game see with their own eyes that Ange, the board, and the players have no idea how to be a success. I do think Ange has lost the dressing room. It's the walking dead.

People should search out 'klopp ditches zonal marking'... In 2016/17 Klopp got pelters from the media and fans because he wouldn't move away from zonal marking.. he eventually did. So why isn't the media doing the same with Ange.. the media has an example 'klopp's failure' to suggest it doesn't work in the Premier League. Klopp was just as frustrating like Ange is. Klopp saw it.. Ange just can't maybe doesn't want too.

When is this going to end? I dont mean just the pain of supporting Spurs, I mean blaming managers. Focus on blaming Levy for making us a laughing stock for 20+ years. Leaving Cyprus tonight. Went to watch Omonia v Larnaca on Monday night. Much more enjoyable than being depressed by Spurs. Proper atmosphere. Like old times.

My usual take is;
Ange doesn't do defence and he doesn't do tactics. He just does system then its up to the players to get the result.
Ange is just passing the responsibility to the players. The players have no fall back position should our opposition get in the ascendancy.
Unfortunately the whole set up is shoving our players under the bus Ange has to go so the players can play with some substance and get some belief back, Not just stand there with his hands in his pockets like a headmaster COYS.
@Savva. No matter how you examine all the factors, it will come down to one single issue. It is not Dan Levy. It is not the players. It is not the style. The problem in twofold morphed into one. The tactic is plain wrong. Awful and dreadful. No matter the players the stubbornness of Ange to keep ramming the tactics down the team's throat is the main culprit. You can guide average players to elevate them with good sound tactics. You can not get the best in the world to perform collectively with poor leadership. I feel bad for the bloke he is still reading the clippings of his rise.
Savva, Postecoglou isn't a coach. He isn't making players better. Under say a Klopp I think the likes of Brennan Johnson would improve significantly

You might give Ange some slack if you see any problems on the pitch, solved in the next game. But there is NO CHANGE! EVER!

The catalyst for Spurs coming back from the dead was firstly The Jedi and then Kulu. Both showed they have the eye of the tiger and a will to win. Despite AnGes crap system of play. Theses 2 boys step up. Plenty of respect to Brennan he showed his courage with that goal after the abuse. Ange is out of his depth. Let him call on his sword .

I support the manager, but above all my club if he does not show us anything convincing by January, we will have to let him finish the year and try to have the Manager of Girona a very good manager who knows how to develop the players and knows very well how to adapt and develop a team

Winning that game saved Ange his job IMO. I think we lose that and his days were numbered in weeks, not months.
But I've said recently on your videos Savva, and I'll say again, I've lost interest and don't really care. I'm used to being in this position as a Spurs fan when we're just waiting for the next manager to come in now. But when that happens the cycle just starts again. I don't have any hope for this club whilst ENIC are there. Until we get an owner who genuinely cares about football like Arsenal now have or City do, we will be the same old Spurs.
So until then you've just gotta laugh and watch another manager crash and burn in a horrible, turgid, chaotic end. This is who we are mate!

I feel sorry for Ange. He was obviously sold a pup by Daniel when he interviewed for the job. He probably still doesn't realise it when he is told that a deal "fell through" when the truth is that Daniel wouldn't pay the market price. It happens all the time. No head coach can work successfully with this Chairman. Ange is not the club Manager. He does not have the authority to hire, and fire. He is merely head coach. Daniel Levy hides behind his board title of Chairman, but the fact of the matter is that HE is the Club Manager, a control freak, and his performance over a very long period of time has been woeful. Unless he changes his attitude, drastically, we are in for just more of the same.

This season needs to play out and give a chance for ange, the players and the fans to make some progress and improve their mentality at the club. What manager in their right mind will come now and work in this recruitment set up? It needs an overhaul with a proper dof and his own team of scouts. Footy is not just talent but experience and mentality. Thomas Frank or any coach worth their mettle would not accept working in this setup. You can't just sign young talent and then put pressure on the coach to deliver results. Football has never, will never work like that. Overhaul the current process and then review the head coach situation at the end of the season. That's just common sense.
Savva that was shambolic ,Theres no fluidity in the team couldnt pass the ball to each other defendings bad on set piceses and cant score. Worried me when Anges transfers bought in youngster and not bought more quality to help youngsters. Savva have a good evening .

The one thing I can’t get with you on is the constant slagging of Brennan Johnson. Brennan is a decent, talented player, an excellent professional and a good person. The way he has been treated by the Spurs fan base is disgusting and I don’t see him as your biggest problem. There’s a player in there, you just need to give him time
