I hope that at some point the infant ejection port settles down. I'm sorry about that whole closet thing. We were just having a little fun, right? No one was hurt and we got you re-hydrated. Remember how we laughed together right before the police showed up? Making memories, Bill, making memories. Nice video BTW! Also, would you mind coming and bail me out? Thanks!
Bill: “I’m not gonna do rust on this build” Also bill: *paint silver undercoat and then brown over the top in a patchy way which looks exactly like rust*
Yay, the T-Nu introduction was fun, and the build and editing, are as always, excellent! BTW, that Final Faction missile launcher gun at the very top of your build has a removeable missile, in case you want/need to glue it in place. I have the same set of those, and was shocked to learn that.
I work a very physical and dangerous job 10-24 hours a day, and when I get off work I like to listen to my friend Bill. Keep doing what you’re doing as long as you enjoy it!
The fact that you said you weren't painting it rusty and then immediately pulled out a color so similar to rust was absolutely hilarious, yet also not surprising. Turned out great in the end though, definitely an upgrade for those toys!
That's a great bit of scatter terrain/objective. Those greebles from the action figure weapon packs are a great bit of terrain-spotting. The cabling is really well realized too.
Yes, make what you like and fit the game to that! Great description of why I love indy games. (But TH-cam decided your celebration of cheap plastic tat should be interrupted by an ad touting some company’s zero waste goals)
The weapons are an expansion pack to the final faction figures to say that they were originally exclusives for the dollar tree store over in the USA and ashens reviewed them but I had to order mine from eBay and never took them out of the package and just hung them on my office area wall
Great definitions of "kitbashing" and "scratchbuilding" and "trashbashing" and all the interesting subtlety of each! That needs to be written down somewhere haha
We have a lot of those Final Faction toys around here. Including the action figures. They're alright, I guess. Don't know how well they can be used for kitbashing.
It's great that you're using up all that plastic tat from The Land of Pounds - if you didn't, it'd all end up in landfill or in the oceans killing fish. You're an environmental hero, you know, and I don't think you get the credit you deserve.
I'm pretty sure it would be more heroic if he were getting at leaste some toys second hand upcycling the build instead of buying new, causing more demand for plastic toys to be made... But I buy alot of final Faction some I'm kinda the pot calling the kettle black
@@SageForsaken Yes ;-) Actually, that would be a good challenge, wouldn't it, Sage? Rather than buying any NEW tat to pull apart, Bill could pledge to only use second-hand or salvaged parts. It would no doubt make his builds a bit harder, but, y'know.... the planet!!
@@MarkMichalowski Watch him say nothing now, like he's not even noticed your comment, and then, in a couple of weeks' time, he'll sneak it in like it's his own idea. Just you watch - humans (or squidgies, as we call 'em) are devious like that. You can't trust 'em ;-)
@@rustytherobotbear I'm cool with him making some videos of 100% repurposed parts. But don't expect it to be all he does. It would be an interesting challenge.
Heck, that practically fell together, and it looks great. Barry Bostwick with a bouffant, in gold lycra, riding a flying motorcycle has to be seen to be believed.
i came over you channel about a month ago and you've been such a inspiration you got me to make my very first scratch build. i just love your work and want to thank you :p
SAM launcher is a common term used by US forces (surface-Air-missle). Sam-site, missle battery, stationary missle platform, flaming boom stick catapults...etc
Oh yes, he was good, wasn't he? Great that this channel's finally getting the shot in the arm that it needs😼 Now, all he needs is a robot to help him out....🤖
Errr a ground to air missile , rocket type launcher ..... looks great Bill 👍.... and err up that Velociraptor , looks more like Archaeoptryx .... the first lizard type bird thing !
i think Ashens did a video with the full set of those final faction things, if you're curious as to what the aliens look like they looked like organic mechas. probably a good base model for a build thinking about it.

What if you use one of those rolling pins to add texture to the garden wire or the christmas wire? They're wrapped in rubber/plastic, so maybe they would hold the texture if heated before? Imagine all of the different types of tubes you could create!
The MOTU figures were great, but that feathered dino is the tits. I got a couple of those Future faction jet boards and cut the pegs off and put them on some old clear plastic curtain rod. They are very close to the jet boards from SNES TMNT turtles in time. Great job as always.
