I actually love that range of people, because body modification is not a result of tragedy it is simply a choice some undergo. I have my tongue split, and my history and backgroud may be entirely opposite to some one else with their tongue split.

I learned you could actually have it done when i was probably 12, and from then on i had always known it was something i was going to do, when i was 19 i saved up for about a year and sent off to get it done. Had it about 2 months now and i dont regret a damn thing about it its my favorite mod
i guess i got it because i love the look, it was a challenge and i like to push myself, and just something extreme, i crave extremity

i couldnt eat because my tongue was huge as i already have a big tongue, that was the worst part of it for me personally
i would say if youre worried about the procedure, dont be because it is nothing in comparrison for what the healing process has in store, even though mine was smooth sailing in the world of tongue splitting, it was still a LOT of pain and turmoil relentlessly for a week

@@layth6857 late, but if you didn't watch the video in case because it was sad she basically tested positive for HIV, it became AIDS and she nearly died from it, but eventually recovered and became undetectable/untransmittable. She decided from then on that being a human had affected her life so negatively, she didn't want to die a human

Isn't it funny how the people we deem "weird" or "freaks" are always the ones who aren't judgemental and more caring than the norms in society
Its empathy. people who know what it's like to feel oppressed for being who they are, dont judge cause they know how that feels.
Bc they know what it’s like to be judged. So they are more supportive. And norms are judgemental because they are scared to be called a “weirdo”. They’d rather judge someone than be blamed to be the same as someone who is different. For example, homophobes tend to judge gays cause they are fearing to be considered as gay.
Well, people don't usually come off as judgemental when they are given 10 minutes to promote their lifestyle or explain their choices. Guarantee if you hang around them enough you will find that they have the same flaws that most humans do.

I remember the first time I saw Dragon Lady was on a episode of Caso Cerrado. It is a Spanish court case reality show. Her story was very heart-breaking. It was really stupid the reasons they we’re suing her.
I am glad she won the case because her whole family and neighbors were so cruel to her. She is such a sweetheart.
