If I assumed the Hellsing universe was set in the 1940s, it would make sense because around those years, mirrors no longer used silver as its "reflective part" and used mercury instead (now we use aluminium) and the idea of "vampires don't have reflections" because older mirrors still use silver and you know one of vampire weaknesses is silver :D //Maybe maybe they didn't mean it and I was just overthinking it, but I think it's quite "historically accurate" with the history of mirrors in the real world and I think it's interesting xD
