@17:40 I hear you maraji, and I also believe that you and Apostle Femi Lazarus are both saying the same thing. Yes, we’ll get mood swings but we should not let it control how we act. Like you said when a lady has hormonal imbalance it will take Holy Spirit for her to be calm and not change am for people. Hence, what Apostle said...we are not flesh controlled but spirit controlled. So, submitting yourself to Holy Spirit and letting Him fill you with peace. That’s how I see it. I think he was emphasizing on having self-control which is one of the fruit of the Spirit rather than being moody all the time because of our hormones or disrespecting your spouse, just like we choose to shower every day, pray and read our Bible daily even when we don’t feel like it or are going through a lot. Self control.
Either way our moods shouldn’t be a condoning factor to be rude or say mean things to people, either a wife or a husband. This applies to men as well who have mood/anger issues. Many people have destroyed relationships due to anger or having a bad day/mood swings. Ecclesiastes 7:9 (do not be eager in your heart to be angry, for anger resides in the bosom of fools. Furthermore, Ephesians 4:26-27 (be angry but do not sin. Do not give the devil a foothold). Lastly, I also believe in being patient and understanding of someone who might still be on a journey of Holy Spirit working on their heart in terms of self control and not being quick to speak or react when angry. We are all a work in progress after all. If it is a big issue please speak up and seek help. God also created doctors and medicine. Just my 2 cents I guess😊

I for one, I have mood swings and all that sereren when I'm on my period but it's certainly not an excuse to start acting off....

I love how you love your family, how you love your life. It encourages me so much, you have no idea. I'm a young wife and mom and I love my family soooo much but sometimes i feel so overwhelmed with cooking, cleaning and taking care of the family expecially when i see my mates going to the office, hanging out as they wish and being boss babes.
But each time i watch your video, I'm reminded i can be happy and feel fulfilled right where I'm at presently.
Seriously, you don't know what's in those boss babes' heads. They could be looking at you jealous that you have a family; they could be stressing about work projects, deadlines, challenges; they could have a crappy man they want to settle with who won't commit. We all have challenges. We're all on a path. Life has ups and downs, good and bad seasons for EVERYONE. Just try to keep a positive view of whatever season you're in. Whatever that is, whether good or bad, it will soon pass onto a next season. Try to stay healthy and find little moments for yourself: whether it's K dramas like Maraji or occasionally inviting a friend for coffee and a chat (or a rant!).

Those “boss babes” only show you a tiny part of their lives which makes them “perceived” in a certain way. Life has got challenges and seasons, your babies won’t be young forever, make memories with them.
Also, get support and don’t feel ashamed to ask for help when you need it so you don’t burnout. Remember, you can’t pour from an empty cup so that time alone would help you feel refreshed so that you can serve your family from a healthy place. That said, once in a while, if you can, get out of the house and hang out with your friends who share similar values with you and not those who would make you feel less of a person because you’re just a “mom and a wife” in this season.

If you feel overwhelmed speak to your husband to assist you. It might seem little but being overwhelmed have killed alot of Nigerian women all in the name of Marriage. I am glad maraji's video gives you encouragement but your life is different from hers. You have to solve your own issues before you are run over by it. You also mentioned that you are young. Meaning you hope to do alot more with your life but unable to. There are married women who still achieve great heights in their life. If you are unable to achieve that it means something is wrong. That's why you feel comfortable to compare your self with the boss babes. Talk to your husband.

Yes Maraji is home most of the time but she is a content creator who earns working from home that is very different from not making any income and just doing domestic chores at home. Please discuss with your husband so you won’t collapse from exhaustion due to intense stress.

The burnt orange is so beautiful! But yeah, painting the whole house that might even make it overwhelming. There are lighter colors that pair well with it that is not a boring white, like light grey, etc. I am obsessed with the burnt orange.

Hellooo girlll! Happy to see you back! just wanted to talk about the ''pray about it''! I must say YES pray about it is the main thing to do and does not mean put yourself together. I think it is a way to tell you ''The Maker knows betterr about it and can fix it perfectly''; yes you should go to the hospital but you mightfall on someone who gives you wrong medecine, or fall on the right one but the edecine would not work maybe because they missed a area of what you are going throught and one thing or the other. Prayer is not a way to tell you shut up and endure, according to me it is a way to tell you ''put it all down at the feet of your Lover and let Him ease it''. That's what I think. Though I do not agree with the statement of that preacher....he was not there so he can't affirm that... Anyway love your vibe!

I think you shouldn't paint everywhere in your house the burnt orange (or whatever that colour is) because it might make your house dark. I like the white and orange combination. You can consider changing the white to another lighter colour.

Exactly my thoughts when I saw the video, i respect him but he can’t know what he doesn’t know. Most times I just keep crying because what is wrong with me! How can I help myself feel better. I don’t even know what the problem is with me, I feel like I am depressed, sad, broken and if anyone wants to talk to me, I’m not in the mood ma/sir. The next day I’m very happy and what to talk to everyone
Same way one woman in church on Sunday said anyone that allowed themselves be depressed is not really a born again because the bible said we should not worry, she was raised not to worry but pray and pray, so many times they won't have food at home, her parents taught them to pray, someone would now bring food...like seriously 😂...anyone who is depressed is not a born again Christian...itsokay. Some of us religious Christians would help other Christians open the door of hell, with our religiousity...it is annoying.

They should a woman for a month in the life of a woman that has severe menstrual cramps that you have to land in the hospital. PCOS has made some women depressed and someone will come and have a say or dictate to them how to behave or act.
The paint is a really nice warm color but as u said to paint the entire home might be bit much .. maybe paint some walls a lighter shade of that color 🤔
