Another excellent and informative video. That reg looked awful with all that unnecessary grease! An ingenious way of testing the reg pressure setting :-)
wouldnt surprise me if that was the original Airarm's grease from when it was first assembled, seen it on the hammer aswell then tthey wonder why so many rifle's are developing faults with consistancy probs, great vid bty
excellent video ,love watching you work on these rifles. I get my first pcp Aselkon MX6 in a few weeks and hope it's good because there is no help in Australia.
That should be one happy FTP900 owner now!! Interesting about the findings, I have seen similar grease used on an air filler port, that didn't work too well. Wonder what people are thinking?
@@sub12airgunners You did the o rings but not the clear seal in the adjuster that the piston seals against. By the way, a 3/8 square drive fits the back of the adjuster, no need for a special tool.

Thank you 👍 yes it's not often stuff like that works out, you do need 2 bottles
Another home made tool master class :-) really like the way this inspires confidence to strip and fix problems in the rifles.
we do like a special tool 🤣🤣

Airmaks - amazing rifles. I've got a Caiman X and my pal has a Katran. So accurate and cool features.

Jeff, any chance of you milling a UIT slot in my SabreTactical ARCA rail? I wish to shoot prone and ST haven't provided any suitable anchor point.
