@@charmingjim yeah i can't stand doing Uber because have to deal with these assholes all the time. Would be great if instead of them riding in the back or next to you, that we had a trailer, and the riders went in the trailer and we never had to interact with them, and just have a heavy tint and bullet proof windows to keep us safe from these retards

This couple don't die. They are immortals, and have always been together. While their names are never mentioned, the guys name is Adam and the girl is called Eve, and in a way we are all related to them.

Shockingly accurate. I worked in a tree lot and countless times I would ask the customer what they’re looking for and they always say “a tree”.
Ask a stupid question...
It's not that stupid. Some people prefer the smell of spruce, some want a Douglas fir, and I usually want a Charlie Brown tree because that's all my space and funds will allow.

I feel like there would be a stock answer for these people, and that answer would happen to be whatever tree you're trying to unload the most urgently
I used to sell xmas trees, and this is surprisingly on point.

This is what you do with people like that: Show them the most expensive thing you got and charge them double for it. They are so oblivious they won't notice.
Or show them the cheapest thing, say it's the most expensive thing, and charge double

I worked retail years ago, and these are not the worst customers, actually. There were many that were wayyyyy worse than this.

Oh, hell, yeah. I once worked in a department store on Long Island. All these women would come in during sales, buy lots of clothes without trying them on, and return 99% of them a few days later. And they were pushy and impatient. 🤦🏻♀️
@@starrfishhill Oh, like people that would intentionally make a mess to clean up, people that would return holiday decorations the day AFTER the holiday, people that would let their kids run wild, people that would ask if there was more of an item "in the back" (1. there never is, and 2. it would take hours to search "in the back"). One time this customer stuffed food into the hollow tubes of a shelving unit. It took a long time before staff figured out where the smell was coming from. People who would try to switch shelf price tags then hold up the register line for a price check. And I won't even get into bodily fluids found around the store. Let's just say you should always wash anything you buy in the store before wearing....

I was very young working retail and this women thought I was living when I said we don't carry extra stock in the back, called me a liar, next day she came in told my boss my said lie, my boss said we don't carry extra stock, my boss said the lady was beside herself stupid.
His character was specifically written as the protagonist of the skit. No one had to have any work experience to relate to him.
Can we just respect how hard it must've been for Jack Black to play the straight man in this sketch.

The "shouldn't he be telling us about the trees" right in front of the guy - after he's already tried to do that & they wouldn't listen - is spot on.

First, one of the best performances in the entire career of JB. Second, the reason this sketch is killer is because of almost everyone one - no matter what work/profession- has encountered this couple.

In Beverly Hills we have douchebags who race up and down our residential streets in exotic cars with straight pipes (no mufflers). They have diplomatic plates so the cops can't touch them. And they're far from the worst people here...
