    Where did you find a plane that old was it in that good of shape when you got it

      Most of the planes flying around Alaska are at least 30-50+ years old. They just don't make very many small general aviation planes any more and the ones they do make cost $200k, so they are very cost prohibitive. Most of the planes get updated each year, so even with mine being 70 years old, it is still safe.
