Salute to you working hard grinding waking up early is not easy and getting your sleep I have been trucking for 17 years luckily I get home every night your job is 1 of the better paying ones but u definitely have to earn it respect
I work for McLane From Atlanta We Break down each pallet Load our hand truck by hand Scan the product Run it down the ramp into the Customer store No lift No Pallet Jack and Definitely No customers helping us Unload You got Gravy Big Dawg Stay Safe Driver Never leave that Job
I’m about to Start at PFG! I already have 3 years driving experience and 1 full year in the Food service industry at a Mexican company called Goya Foods out of Texas.
Great video bro and it looks like a gravy route except you gotta layover lol. Have you ever considered using the safety lip on the end of you liftgate? This guy at my old job lost a pallet jack over the edge and a year later we were still giving him shit about it. Only take a few extra seconds per pallet.
WoW. I work the food line side of McLane. Don't you have the Lytx camera in your windshield? Driving while distracted, no seat belt. We'd get nailed for that. Good luck.
You skimped us man! Want a full video! Haha .. I just got my first gig with Keurig Dr Pepper .. starting Jan 25. Just got my CDL A on Dec 14... I’m coming outta NYC basically. So these companies out here ain’t taking risks on these tight busy streets with a rookie lol.. it was definitely hard tryna find something local.. I was fighting that OTR stuff man lol... I wouldn’t mind it. But I’m def planning a wedding so yeah.. wifey wasn’t having it 😂
@@onlythehumble514 Hauling fuel is super dangerous. I definitely would not recommend that to you with the amount of experience you have. Even with experience, I wouldn't recommend it. One false move and 🔥🚒. Not worth it.
Safety call. You always life the tail of your lift gate. I work for coke and many new drivers leave it down and lose. Control of the jack and it goes straight off the lift gate
Oh yeah I’ve had my fair share of ramp work. I do that when I help other centers out of state. I’ll drop a vlog on that soon. Ramp workers are way to underpaid in my opinion.
Yo i work for Penske i deliver to the same company as McLane do over here in NJ att time we both trucks in the parking lot trying to get it done. Hey we do wat we have to do be safe
Wait... so you get an electric jack, a liftgate AND help from the employees inside?!? How come everybody else I see has to run up&down a ramp with a hand truck, AFTER digging around for cases? Lol
How old were you when you got your CDL-A? I'm 23 and I currently work at McLane in the warehouse I wanna become a driver just that backing up has me nervous about doing it.
I was 21 when I got my license, I’m 25 now. Trust me backing up scared the shit outta me when I first started. All I can say is REPETITION! The sooner you get out there and you get your reps on backing into spots you’ll soon get better!
@@killlquincy3770 Damn! you're only 25?! so right around my age, this is definitely the motivation I needed seeing this video. Salute bro keep grinding and doing your thing!
Are your pallets organized by stop? Even the frozen goods? I work at a smaller Foodservice distributor and we have to dig for everything. Great video btw!
It’ll be 3 years this February doing company OTR I might try something local. Did you need Hazmat endorsement? How’s the off days or is it vacation time?
Awesome footage! Do you keep the keys to the tractor? Or do you turn them in at the end of each route? Looked like you had them attached to your ID card, just curious
I applied for McLane here in AZ and they say we'll be making stops in TX and NM throughout the week. Home weekly, work 3-4 days a week, 10+ hour days, but any route that takes longer than a day to do (depending where you stop) they'll put you up in a hotel.
No thank you. I'm not with that 💯% touch freight game. I did it with JB several months for Dollar Tree and said never again. I'm a drop and hook man these days.
@@killlquincy3770 yes, Wendy’s, Texas Roadhouse etc, been here about 3 months now looking for something around the same pay with less work. Unloading 30,000+ pounds by yourself can get taxing on your body.

Thank you man, I appreciate the love 🙏🏽💯
That’s what you call a sweet route lol. I’m ramping every store.
Lol! This is not a typical Mclane route. Your trailer was 1/4 full. 3 stops, LOLZ! Usually that trailer full with 10-13 stops!

My back hurts watching this video, I been doing otr for 2 years and got me incredibly out of shape.
I Applied in San Bernardino 7 PM or 10 PM dispatch 17 stops a night home daily and recruiter said team 2 people What’s the pros and cons ?
Aye I love Yard House!!
Kianaovoxo I still haven’t eaten at yard house but what I deliver looks pretty fire. 😂
No cones around the truck while delivering, not closing a door between taking pallets out. I would already got written up for that if not fired.
That’s crazy lol

Great video!! I’m LTL and thinking about going to food service. Do you get a diagram of the places you go so you know where to park?
Can you do a Vlog of you backing in?
My backing is bad I need help myself
It’ll be 3 years this February doing company OTR I might try something local. Did you need Hazmat endorsement? How’s the off days or is it vacation time?
No you do not need a hazmat endorsement to work at Mclane
Duh dude food service drivers are not required by Mclane to have a hazmat endorsement duh dude.
@angel probably meant food cart or something like that. Many food carriers require that...
You work grocery or food service? Whats the difference?
O ok can you please just do a video of you driving the truck and working?
Awesome footage! Do you keep the keys to the tractor? Or do you turn them in at the end of each route? Looked like you had them attached to your ID card, just curious
Quick question does Mclane assign you your OWN Tractor... Meaning is that the same truck you drive everyday?
I’m thinking of joining with Mclane bro
Did you go thru McLane’s driver trainee program?
Great video! But you should learn to bend with your legs and keep your back straight when lifting, save your back!
How long did it take to get solo bro
your foodservice isn't local?
Nice More videos ✌
Dude go haul fuel you will not regret it.

Darron Johnson thank you bro bro
Hy how many hours truck drivers work aday ?
Do all drivers get power pallet jacks?
Yeah we do
There is no yard house in yuba city
Automatic trucks?
Yes sir
Must be rough not sleeping on your own bed bro
Naw man, I slept in a truck for 3 years, I’m grateful to at least spend a night in the hotel.
Do they give rookie drivers a chance ??
What kind drug testing they do for drivers ?
What’s the pay like
How often do you get randomly drug tested as a truck driver?
Well it’s random.... could be once a year could be 10 times a year but drugs have no room in the industry too much to lose just to get high
What’s the average pay ? and how many days are u required to work
average is 1500-1700 per week
Do you have to start otr before you can do local?
No, but you will be on call usually. Home just about every night
Whats up bro came across your video .im out of inland 604 mclane
