- A Columbus man has been charged with raping a 10-year-old Ohio girl who then had to travel to Indiana seeking an abortion after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, according to court proceedings CNN obtained through affiliate WBNS. CNN’s Manu Raju asks Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) whether he would apologize for sending a Tweet that referred to the rape case as “another lie.”
This is not the first time that Jim Jordan has denied allegations of sexual abuse carried out by someone else.
As usual lying through his teeth because he never believes any child!

Well it wasn’t the 10 yr old girl saying she was raped. It was some dude from Indiana saying it. There was no police report made so there was no evidence this existed outside of some dude from Indiana who preformed the abortion.

It was a secondhand account of her being raped with her not saying anything. Once the girl came out and the arrest was made, no one doubted the girl. No one victim blamed. No one said she was a liar.

Jordan referred to “another lie.” As the girl had made no prior statements, her allegation, even if false, could not be construed as “another” lie. That said, Jordan isn’t blameless. As a politician, he should have realized that a generalized statement like that could be misconstrued and should have been more clear in his tweet.

Why was this not reported to authorities correctly because the attorney general couldn't find the case. Telemundo did an interview with the mother:she doesn't believe the child and neighbors state the mother is pregnant by the accused.

@C C It would be argued in court whether it is or is not a legitimate deduction. Tax code defines a dependent as: The IRS defines a dependent as a qualifying child (under age 19 or under 24 if a full-time student, or any age if permanently and totally disabled) or a qualifying relative. Therefore if the state defines that a life (child) which is defined as: a son or daughter of any age, then at 6 or 14 weeks, whatever, you could argue it fits the definition of a child and thus is a dependent. I would argue just that in court and have a legally sound argument. IMO.

The story is not completely false but it was told in a deceptive way to stoke outrage against the Supreme Court's decision and to hide the illegal immigration component.
