It's important to note that certain morphs have a lower life expectancies than wild type bearded dragons. The decrease in their life is frequently caused by more health issues due to frequent inbreeding to get a desired result...at least when a morph comes to be since the genetic pool is small until it is widened. That said you will see some breeders won't breed zeros to zeros because of this only het to het or zero to het to widen the genetic diversity. I also like to say that silkies (super leatherbacks) require special care/consideration compared to wild types. Remember to always do your research and please don't support pet stores like pet co go to reptile events and buy from good breeders that actually care for the well being and the genetic soundness of their animals. Fancy dragons don't exist nor do fancy ball pythons these are just terms that general chain pet stores came up with; the correct term is morph.
@@koopaslayer7598 your point? Doesn't mean they're experts. Someone that worked there told me my damn scorpion was a reptile and after that you want me to trust them? Funny. You clearly don't do your research
@@koopaslayer7598 let me correct you "every commercialized non reptile specialized store calls them fancy". Fixed your statement as stores such as Reptile depot, serpentarium, etc don't call them fancy they are called by their morph type. Fancy is a term used by the ignorant that doesn't know what they are working with. Another example of this is how they do this with ball pythons, but clearly some are spiders, sugars, pastels, etc. Overall just go to a breeder you will get a better price along with what they actually are. Stores such as pet smart or pet co don't know jack...if they did well 1. Their ball pythons would have more humidity 2. Would be kept seperate 3. They wouldn't sell lavender scented bedding for rodents. 4. Would know animals such as baby Nile monitors ARE NOT EASY PETS 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ Can't express how abusive those stores are to their reptiles go to a specialty store, but don't listen to people who don't know jack about the animals.
