The old bulbs were philips son-i 70w which means they have an internal ignitor but these new bulbs are philips master son pia plus 70w if I'm not mistaken they need an ignitor

Hi. No, they are not mercury lamps. There were Philips 70W SON-I, and they were replaced with the same type of lamps.🫶

Not yet, they still have philips sgs 203 with HPS bulbs Philips master son pia plus, probably in the future they will be replaced with LED headlights

The plan is for everything to eventually become LED, but the municipality prioritizes which areas will be replaced first.
The old one was 70W SON-I, and the new lamp is also 70W SON-I. Just as you described earlier, if you use SON-T or SON-E, you need an igniter for them.
Whether you use philips cdm-tt or cdo-tt, it provides dsha performance light.
This is not CDO but a Philips SON-I.

Yes, but the philips master son pia plus needs an external starter
There is the philips master son or son-t apia plus xtra; which is the most efficient HPS and has the longest life
