Great video! One minor point: 24 mins in Lenny would only take 3 Hits as one of the Strike dice is not applied (since it is, in effect, the die the other dice are matching against,).
Thank you! I've played through "Tunnel Rats" already so some of the mechanics were familiar but I haven't delved into the base game yet so this is a great primer for getting started.
Timely indeed, Zilla, as mine was delivered this morning (base game, Force Recon :Keyhole and the bonus Born to Kill). Now to decide whether to spend the weekend with this, or GMT's Wolfpack, which arrived last week !
@ZillaBlitz sold!!!! It's not out here in the UK till the New Year but my order is now confirmed and it looks like now I need to hunt out my old tour of duty dvds and 60s soundtracks! Thanks for all you do. My collection has grown thanks to you, this will be my fourth purchase following your reviews. Now I just have to make a decision on Phantom Leader.
Watching through the video, at about the 3+minute mark, you demonstrate the intelligence test for Frenchie. The option used was which lowered the diff from 3 to 2 but you proceeded to do it at 3. I'm sure that's me not interpreting your process right but that did seem wonky.
I am really on the fence with this game. I feel like it's either going to be excellent, or a complete flop. I definitely want to see some reviews come in before I purchase.

Thanks! And d'oh on the hit error! Yes, I see now. Thanks for pointing that out. I'll make a note of it in the video description. :)
Thank you!!! I've been making my way through the rule book and this video helped clear some questions I had
My pleasure, glad it helped! Keep in mind there was one matching error that I've noted in the video description. :)

I'm glad you found it helpful. There are a few things we don't get to, like wound cards, etc. But I think most of the key things are in here. :)
interesting playstyle - well presented! The time component was indeed a good pressure point
Yes, I really like the way the game handles time and threat. You're constantly trying to balance the two things. :)
Great play through, that's gonna be helpful when I finally receive mine!
I hope it arrives soon! :)
Great stuff. Looking forward to more Raiders Of The Deep. Cheers!
Yes, I really need to get back to that. :)
Thank you zilla. My game is arriving today, 3 and a half hours apparenty according to tracker.
Cannot wait.
Hope ypu make a series of this 🙏
Good luck, have fun!

Oh, hard choices indeed! ... Both?
Im really tempted by this one
I'm enjoying it. :)

Phalanx....What an excellent name!....Also if you had had Animal Muther, you would've added +4 stamina.
An excellent name indeed! I was wondering if you were connected in some way, but I take it not?
@@ZillaBlitz No...I had a Guild in Everquest II named 'Phalanxia' back in the 2000's and have had that username ever since.

Ah, I see. the "2" means that only 2 need to match, not 3. It isn't referring to the number of dice rolled. All good, carry on.
@roycenlisa Exactly, you got it. It's easy to think that the difficulty is the number of purple dice, but it's the number of matches you need.
Starting mission 1 today.
Run silent, run deep. ... Oh, wait. Wrong game.
Purple, but mostly yellow haze. 😊
Ha!
Are you going to do a how to play?
Beyond this, no. :)
After watching this, I have a sudden urge to listen to the song "Fortunate Son". : )
Creedence!

@@ZillaBlitz CCR is one of my all-time favorite rock bands. : )
No arguments here. :)
Excellent video! Enough info to show what's happening, but not a "teach" video that bogs down.
A fair number of things not included, but I think I got all the big things, except for maybe wound cards and stress cards.
@ZillaBlitz and we can easily infer what those might mean. Good enough till our own copies arrive.
Thanks for showing this, I've decided to skip this one - with so many games to play it's good to skip at least some titles😀
We can't play them all, that's for sure. ... Although I seem to be trying. :)
@@ZillaBlitz So say we all😁
