If I may ask why Persona 3 Portable was not mentioned anywhere because I liked the game especially because of the female protagonist so in my opinion the game deserved to be mentioned somewhere and because of Persona 6 Atlus has to give an update to part 6 because if they want to make another offshoot of Persona 5 I have to throw up please don't get me wrong Persona 5 Royal was great but they should have retired Joker and his friends after Striker at the latest the Persona universe really needs a new team now and I also want to know now if part 6 has a female protagonist again or not
There is a big chance that we will see Persona 6 at the Game Awards. Not a huge fan of the Awards because of all the annoying advertisments, unnecessary rewards like best e sport and mobile game and so on but I will watch it because I have a hunch that we will get P6 there.
main draw of the Game Awards are the "Premier" trailers. majority of gamers watching unless they are part of the industry or participate in console wars don't care about the rewards

Honestly if I wasn't so sure that Persona 6 could be announced there I would probably watch the game trailers from the Game separately a day after, without being annoyed with all the ads and game dev interviews, concert and all the other fluff.

TGA sounds VERY likely to me, it makes the most sense since ATLUS has been going towards a more worldwide direction, especially when it comes to Persona

I disagree tbh. Imo, Metaphor's bond system is only like that because it doesn't intend to be a social simulator like Persona typically is. It's also why it doesn't have any optional romance routes. If it were me tho, I at least hope that P6's point system works differently.
I strongly suspect that one of the reasons why P6 has been taking so long to develop is cuz P-Studio may be planning to completely transition out of atlus' older in-house engine to UE4, as they may have already begun doing with P3R. In a way, Reload's production must have been like a training ground or tech demo for them.

I hope metaphor gets a series. I’m not done either like I’m on 9/23 I love it so much it’s better than persona fr. Feels like how persona 5 felt when it first came out. Persona 6 not sure how it’s going to go cuz different team, hopefully they got some guidance from the OGs🙏🏾

It’s entirely self-contained in it’s own universe, you don’t have to play previous games to get it. But there is some side content at the end of the game that would be beneficial for you to play SMTIII Nocturne and SMTIV and IV Apocalypse to understand but that is only niche side content where the main stories are entirely their own thing

P6 reveal at TGA is too soon imo, they just released Metaphor, probably their biggest game yet... i think the reveal will be in 2025 summer game fest and release in early 2026 or summer 2026
The thing is as another commenter said they have different teams to work on metaphor p-team the ones responsible for persona games except 5X was only been working on persona 3 as their main project for the longest time but now that it's out including episode aigis it's save to say they were already working on p6 for at least 7 months and TGA is a month away from now you also need to remember unlike live service games you don't need massive servers to be mantained and set up theres also the fact it's an announcement not a release window dq12 was announced in 2021 and i still haven't heard shit about that game since august last year
@@m4y013dawg, they're definitely at least past writing and concept phase, they did a hiring process back in 2020 to work on persona 6. 7 months is too early, and from what I know atlus never announces something so early except maybe persona 5 because it was delayed over and over. If they reveal it, it should be followed by a release soon after. Even though they just release persona 3 reload, they also probably had a larger part of the team working on persona 6 I'm guessing. Especially since (and I still love both versions of the game) there weren't really any major additions to reload
