Wally Life is also about the people that live in the Pocono Mountains and when we run into someone whose story is inspiring and they love their life in the Poconos, we want to find out more. This month we talk with Sam Abuschinow who has been entertaining guests at Woodloch Resort for over 40 years and is one of the most versatile performers we have ever met.
The Delaware River Sojourn has been paddling the Delaware River for over 29 years for 7-8 days during the third week in June every year. This year, an aspiring young filmmaker, Hunter Czarnecki-Ball joins the trip and puts together a story on the Sojourn from his perspective as a first time participant.
The event of the summer is just around the corner, Wally Lake Fest will be held August 23-25th, with the Ride for the Lake on August 24th. This 3 day event features an outdoor market, a boat show, live music at locations around the lake, food and drink specials, and Wallypalooza. The entire weekend is a celebration of Lake Wallenpaupack, fun on the water, and celebrating friends and family.
