I am an actor and content creator with Hollywood credits including roles on Lucifer (Netflix), Starlight Christmas (Hallmark), JT Leroy (Universal Studios), etc. In this channel, I offer insight to Kpop performances using my 10+ years of training in dance, acting, singing and overall performance. In dance, my forte are contemporary and musicals and have done most of my performances in theatre. Although my channel is mostly known for dance analysis, I am currently inactive in the dance community.
Update: GUYS. I’ve been watching BK’s focus ver and Donghun’s song covers! I mean the other guys are good too but wow. I wish I filmed a reaction for Donghun’s Sam Smith cover cause I think you would’ve enjoyed my reaction 🤣 And BK-the last time I watched this much focus ver. from a group was with Jimin 😳
I feel you, BK just has this power with his dancing 😁👏 And yeah Donghun‘s vocals are no joke, they‘re sadly pretty underrated (especially in Koreo) but even if you don‘t „stan“ them it‘s hard not to appreciate what they‘re doing because it‘s pretty addicting to watch :‘D

I feel you, I personally think BK is one of the best dancers in the kpop industry, but sadly being in an underrated group means not getting enough recognition :( the same applies to Donghun, his voice is amazing
I think you'd love A.C.E's cover of Kick It - NCT 127. I know Kick It wasn't your cup of tea, but A.C.E covered the dance in their own style (which is SUPER sharp, clean and freaking synchronised) You'd probably find their POWERFUL!! take on the choreo really interesting :))

Fr. I especially respect these guys because before bt interactive they were in HUGE companies. Like, some include YG, and JYP. But they left to bt interactive which was just a brand new company.
A.C.E is one of the all-rounded groups in k-pop, the five members can all sing, rap, dance and they have amazing personalities! I defintely recommend you check out Savage too :)
they have two official rappers, the one with the pigtails and yellow-black outfit and the one with the golden card in his mouth in the mv. the rappers are also the main dancers but they can sing too, the other three are the vocalists but they can also rap pretty well and ofcourse they’re amazing dancers.
the guy you said you loved is Donghun, he’s the main vocalist and the oldest. he didn’t have that much experience in dance when he joined the company and practised very hard to become the dancer he is now

Their group name is pronounced as just "ace" btw. The acronym itself stands for "Adventure Calling Emotion". Very confusing, but this happens a lot in Kpop lol 😅

The A.C.E boys are so incredibly talented and underrated. They're some of the best dancers in kpop right now.
Here's some info on the members:
Junhee (Jun) - leader, vocalist. He's the one with the blue eyes in the mv and did the high notes. He has a gorgeous, kind of nasally and breathy voice that somehow works with literally every style
Donghun- vocalist. Brown hair and sad eyes, the one who's emotional voice you pointed out. Literally one of the best vocalists in the industry. He has such a rich and beautiful tone. He also didn't know how to dance before becoming a trainee and now no one can find a single flaw in his dancing.
Sehyoon (Wow)- dancer, rapper, vocalist. The one with the longer silver hair that was biting the card. He's an incredible dancer and he enjoys writing lyrics and raps. (his rap in Take Me Higher is my favorite)
Byeongkwan- rapper, dancer, vocalist. The dancer that stood out to you in the practice and the one with the pigtails and black and yellow outfit in the mv. Incredible dancer. The way he moves his body is just crazy. He's so fluid yet strong. He also has a beautiful voice.
Yuchan (Chan) - vocalist, dancer. The one with red hair. This boy has always been talented but he's only gotten better as he's gotten older. His voice is so smooth and gorgeous and of course he can dance to literally any style of music. He was in the temporary group UNB for a year so if you react to their stuff he'll be there, and if you react to Take Me Higher by a.c.e they did that without him (though on their latest album they have a "complete" version of the song with all 5 of them)

Cactus is extremely fast. But one you have learned all the moves and go faster, then its "not that hard"😅

also yessss A.C.E is actually have a *REALLY REALLY FAIR* line distribution. that's why all of them get almost the same screentime and parts, which i really love from them
yes! i'm sure it's a lot easier with only five members, but i really appreciate that with ace, you can expect to see and hear all the members a good amount, regardless of the mv. i think bk probably has the most screen time in savage, but that's because he had the chorus - and i imagine it will balance back out in the next one!
The one who is singing the falsetto part you like... he's famous with his sad eyes... so that beautiful soul singing in the mv also helped by his eyes

At first you thought chan was ons of the rappers while hes is one of the main vocalists and then wow was singing the in the second verse while rapping aggressivly in the first one BASICALLY all 5 of them are all rounders all can sing all can dance and all can rap

A.C.E has 2 rappers. The third person who was rapping is a main vocalist, but he just did both in the MV. He’s good mostly everything. He’s good in games, he’s good at tricking the members, he’s good at singing, dancing and rapping. I can’t remember the other things he’s good at. He’s just good a everything.

Jeff Avenue Both are bops tbh! Imo though Cactus has a better choreography compared to Savage (dont get me wrong i love both) but production wise, Savage is better. Either way, both are bops and their choreos slap👏
@@JeffAvenue If you really wanna react to choreo, I'd go for Cactus cause that song is really *intense* . Watch the dance practice instead of the MV though since the MV doesn't show everything. Then try watching the 2x speed dance practice, they struggle a bit with 2x but absolutely nail it at 1.5x speed.
If you wanna react to all around visuals, rapping, and vocals. Watch Savage. Please. It's an absolutely phenomenal concept and they really nail it in production. They released their MV around October...that's the only hint I'm gonna give you. Have fun! Welcome to CHOICE 😉

Believe it or not when they performed Undercover they sang live - their vocal stability is amazing! Apparently they sing while jogging to improve it. You should watch their choreography for Cactus and also the x2 version which is amazing!!

Yes!!! A.c.e are one of my ults honestly I found them almost a year ago with this comeback and they are always AMAZING performers and have the most wonderful personalities. They said this is their hardest choreo and the one you pointed out in the practice vid is byeongkwan (or bk) and he is on pops in seoul rn and does awesome choreo tutorials for different groups and donghun is the one you pointed out in the mv :) they are really good about giving more equal distribution which we love to see :) They work so so hard and thank you for checking them out!!! ❤
You will note the “soloist” in the middle who’s name is Jun is the only one who doesn’t do the bend up thing from the ground. He couldn’t do it. All 5 were supposed to do it. 😂😁

they're popular, everyone knows OF them but not a lot of people actually stan them...thank you for reacting to them :D they're super talented and the sweetest boys
The amazing thing about A.C.E is that literally everyone of them can rap & sing. Byeongkwan & WOW (the two with silver hair) are officially the rappers, however, as you saw, they both also have singing parts in their songs aside from their rap parts :) Also they started out as a Dance Cover Busking Group, that's why their dance skills are on such a high level. If you search for A.C.E Buskimg, there's a lot of videos you can see, many of them before they debuted. But they also occasionally go Busking when they have a Comeback. They just recently did one in the US, with their new Comeback...
A.C.E and ATEEZ are my personal favorite „rookies“ from last year, they are just so powerful in their expressions, choreography and vocals/raps 👏 And yeah, you should still check out Savage or their debut Cactus, they have similiar vibes to this one 💕

I generally don't watch dance practices (I need to) but it's great to watch them with the commentary from someone who's experienced and knows how difficult something is to actually do. Some groups make it look so easy I don't catch different things. I'm also picky about which react channels I watch so I really appreciate yours! I've been loving ace recently so this is great and I think it'll help me appreciate them even more! And it's awesome of you to react to a variety of groups, I love all your content!
A.C.E may be my favorite group out of all, even their covers are so good that I tend to like them even if I didn't like the original song before. I feel like slow dive and callin have the best choreos next to undercover, maybe check them out as well :)
This group is sooo good. And for me, they are the second best dancer group after Seventeen with such really really hard choreographies. Like on youtube there is no many dance cover because this is too hard 😂. Also, you should react to « Cactus » their debut song because wow the choreo is dope and they do it perfectly.
A.C.E -- these guys are so evenly matched (in terms of both dancing and singing) that I can't even pick a bias. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the way they get up from the floor. Every time they do it I worry someone will break an ankle. It's a move they do in several numbers. Their choreo is always awesome. Do check out 'Callin' and 'Cactus' as well as their new stuff.

First of all THANK YOU for reacting to A.C.E (it is just pronounced ace though, rather than a c e) they're such an underrated group but they are SO SO SO powerful. They technically don't have three rappers, but every single member of this group is a vocalist and a dancer. They are just genuine all rounders.
Secondly, yes to everything. Your grin when they hit the body roll for the first time is me AF, and also when you said "my soul just left my body". That's every Choice ever tbf. (Choice is the fandom name).
Thirdly, I knew you'd love how synchronised A.C.E are. They DO that.
Finally (for now, until I think of something else), the dancer you liked in the practise video is also Space Buns, his name is Byeongkwan (also goes by Kwannie or BK), main dancer, lead rapper. The vocalist with the brown hair you said emotes really well is Donghun, our main vocalist. The vocalist with the black hair is Jun and his falsettos are NO joke.

The first soloist is (blue contacts) Jun, leader and main lead vocalist whos range is amazeballs. Red hair soloist is the Maknae, his name is Chan. Third soloist with the beautiful "lick"(eeeheeeeheeee) and very emotive is Donghun who is also my BIAS. Beongkwan, (Bee Outfit and Pigtails) the one who is most expressive is the main dancer and a rapper (although he sings as you can see). And King Wow is the other rapper with white hair who is in the front for the chorus. Fandom name is CHOICE and please stan them!!!!
