"It's one hell of a storm today ain't been one like this for a while, it's good rain the kind to sock through the ground. Was planning on going into town scout out the place but I don't think I'll be doing much of that, well not without getting drenched. The cold wind that the rain brings sending a deathly chill down my back might head down to the inn and rent a bath once this weather clears up think I can scrounge up a bit of money for a hot bath. The campus quiet everyone that was still at camp has closed themselves in there tents to wait out the rain, some are trying to sleep it out uncle is snoring up a storm don't know how that old man can be so tired when he bearly does anything, I might try to do the same though might wake up to a bright sky atleast I hope so looks like the rain might be setting in."

Yeah but I always felt bad my horse had to be outside. So I'd try to stay in homes with stables. Back in 2019 when I basically didn't progress further than mid Chapter 3 and did all the side quests etc, I'd just ride around visiting and revisiting places. One night in the game was rainy like this and I bunked in a homestead stable with my horse.
Yep. Everytime there's a good downpour or thunderstorm I hunker down. And yes, I always feel bad for my horse. I try to find the best shelter I can.

Yea that’s one thing I really wish they made more realistic. It could have been a mechanic to have to relight the camp fire after heavy winds/ heavy storms/ rain and made it more immersive.

Literally same woke up from a nightmare and vouldnt sleep was smoking to valm down and get back to sleep found this clicked and now I feel sleepy and at peace again rdr2 is really helped me in life shi has made me a better man

You actually feel that it is raining and a storm is occurring, the atmosphere is very impressive
I might be weird for this but I love the air thick with humidity and muck. The sogginess of the grass and dirt now mud feels uncomfortable but it makes me feel at home. The rain and wind whipping your face making you cover your eyes feels amazing too.

@@user295.I’m from England too... our summer are humid too, the heat just stagnates. Good luck with all the midgies everywhere, don’t camp near water. You’ll wake up with them in your tent somehow.
I'm an avid camper and I've yet to meet another whose as amped about camping in the rain as I am lol. Everyone goes on about how miserable it is, and it does have its miserable challenges but as soon as you hunker down, no matter what you do it's pure meditative peace imo. Even had a storm blow so hard it broke the door zipper clean off and I had to pin the door shut. Still enjoyed every minute of it!

I’ve been watching this same video for the past 4 months got me through college in the morning I can’t put into words how grateful I am for this video and how much it has help me focus or destress I would love if y’all could make one of Arthur next to a lake/river in a swamp environment with this same tent campfire setup up and same heavy rain and thunder weather and maybe see some alligators in the water or in the distance i would be forever in your debt🙏

Usually do this while reading arthurs journal, a book, or the newspapers. It brings a new level of immersion to this game that is phenomenal. Best game of all time.

Woke up 8 in the morning to go to work..
This is almost the first thing I did when I got this game. Love camping in wet weather (once the tent is up) but I live on an extremely warm continent without much rainfall so rarely get a chance to arrange a trip away that's also during a wet forecast.
This is a time to just talk and share your memories nostalgic 😊

This is the BEST game EVER! I’ve got around 1k hours in this game and I’m still finding things everyday that I’ve never seen or done before. I really hope we get a RDR3 or at the very least a RDR2 remastered version. I play on my ps5 and at least to me it seems like the graphics are better lol but I know that nothing has changed other than my TV and console lol. Love this game, I play a couple hours everyday after work and I play several hours a day on the weekends and my days off.
Remastered? Wait another 10 years lad.

Thus reminded me of the time i went with my father for the hunting season just like we were at the camp thunder storm started . The air was cold and moist drinking tea to warm ourselves. Riding a boat at 3am during Thunderstorm just feels otherworldly

Every single time I play this game and I get close to any kind of water or it starts to rain I immediately get heavy eyes. I quite frequently will fall asleep while still playing and wake up with my horse halfway up a mountain or in the middle of a lake .🤷♀️

Rdr 2 weather/ environment and tlou2 weather/environment are the best in my book so far in all of gaming history
When vr first came to the Samsung galaxy, the Netflix app put you in a cabin in the mountains. Giant tv screen. Fireplace. Beautiful view outside the cabin. It was like a world within a world and I used it to sleep for months until my kids broke the headset. I like to think of it as a time where I was in a different life. This kind of reminds me of that. I can see why so many people want to escape this reality. But Jesus is the only way. Idk where I’m going with this, but thanks for the upload.

Our first day out in the wilderness and the trail is still strong. We got a good early start on the wolf. This is the last time he steals chickens from the coup and leaves a bloody mess of feathers in his wake. This time, the meal will cost him his life. Paw prints, scent, we still have him, but we got held up by the rain. One tent later, I'm writing in journal by lantern light. This is a storm for sure, and once it let's up, we'll be back on the trail if it's not gone too cold. Our only solace is that bastard needs shelter in this too. Better get some sleep while I can.
That fire did really well not to go out after more than 2 hours of heavy rain directly on it.

Watching this with Arthur sitting there looking out makes it feel like he’s guarding you as you go to sleep. He always was the best body guard.
GTA 6, will be beautiful, even more beautiful than this, but I personnaly think that rdr2 would still be better because like in this video, you feel like a real camper or adventurer but when you play gta you don't feel like that you just feel like that's a videogame and nothing more (even they are really good game), in rdr1 and especially in rdr2, in those moments of fishing, camping, or even walking through the map you feel like john marston or arthur morgan

I found myself waiting out a storm this past August. I waited a bit to long to head home and it closed in around us, me and my stud horse "Tig". Tig and I and my Bulldog "Buddy" waited it out in a large cave. I think we all had a good sleep in that cave and to top it off I found a spear point and a stone knife in that cave.
Gta VI should have excellent weather and atmosphere.. imagine being on a crab boat in the middle of the ocean at night.. or a tanker ..in a storm...

I remember doing this just free roaming trying to get all the points of interest I can get with Arthur in certain areas before the epilogue with John and when I set up the camp and a huge rain storm happens I was like wow all those details and the fire never goes out LOL 😂 but anyway it is always a masterpiece to play.
I don't even play games but I could watch someone play RDR a day long❤
