Our Youngest Ski Patrol Candidate Yet! - 16" of Powder, Crazy Day!

- We have our youngest Ski Patrol Candidate ever on the mountain on this very snowy day! I brought my 12 year old daughter with me, she has hopes of being on Ski Patrol while she attends college. I was so happy to have her up there!
I also had the privilege of meeting Vince, Tyler, and Henry at the Navajo Lodge, that was super cool, I very much appreciated them saying Hello. On this day we received at least 16" of new snow and it was still falling when we left, incredible powder and training day, I loved it!

Awesome pow day! Our last day is today I think. The resort has a pipe dream about opening next Friday/Saturday/Sunday but I don’t see it happening. Sad season for us. Almost no natural snow. Every storm missed us. We hit 100 days which was an impressive feat. May 5th closing is impressive! We’ve made it to the beginning of April in high snow years. ❄️❄️❄️

I'm sorry to hear about your rough season, it was a very slow start for us, luckily we've had some good storms recently. It was such a great experience to spend the day with Hana, especially an epic powder day.
nothing like being with your daughter and ski patrolling. She is 19 now and going in health care.
That's rad, I look forward the day Hana's on patrol with me. It's cool your daughter is taking her medical training to the next level.
I see Brian Head is part of the power pass. Are ski bikes allowed on the mountain?
Yes, ski bikes are allowed. I would like to try one out for the day at some point in the future.
