Jimmy, I was wondering what happened to you. I used to follow you when you were living in the van. Are you still living in the class C? Do you get back to Illinois much? Let us know what you've been up to.

Yay Jimmy and Olive!! I'm so happy for you both. I love your new home, it's perfect. I have never understood why people have to have such large houses to live in. Seems like a waste of money to me. With the way our world is becoming these days, I think you have made the right decision to live in your RV. You are so blessed to have a good friend like Ausia. Now, I have to make one request! I love the spot you chose. Being together with friends makes such sense to me in these crazy times. Ausia is the best. No one has more heart. I know she enjoys gathering her besties together to enjoy life and protect one another. Olive and Moo Moo seem south good buddies too. I so enjoy them frolicking. You are such a sweet guy, Jimmy. I am very pleased for you. Your home is perfect for you and Olive.

It’s always interesting seeing how different people choose to live their lives. Yours makes perfect sense to me for you. You have a pleasant personality. I enjoy seeing your videos. I have quite a bit of natural wanderlust but am now 75 ( wow, that went by fast!) and am in poor health…..but I might try some traveling except for my three children, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grands that would think me crazy and worry too much about me. My dear husband passed away last month so there are lots of uncertainties in my life right now. But I have a deep abiding faith and hope in a loving God who helps those who trust in Him through this life and has a plan for a pain free joyful life after this for believers.

What a beautiful reply, except the passing of your hubby of course. There is a lady around your age who makes TH-cam videos and lives the nomadic life. Her name is Box Van Dee and sure loves the lifestyle. Don't be concerned with what others think so much...do what makes YOU happy!

Your new home and set up is awesome! We prefer no slide out also on our travel trailer. For two people it still works fine for us when we use it. Enjoy! 🌵🌼

Get a couple of kitties to chase mice, rats away. They can keep each other company and are fun to watch. Sometimes mine will bring me rats. Dead rats. Lots of lizards, they like the lizards.

Jimmy that is great! You will love having all the extras a class C offers. Hopefully we will be able to meet up this winter when we are all traveling around the Southwest. We are in the Rockies until then.

Jimmy....this class C is perfect for you and Olive!! It’s a nice comfy home for both of you. It sounds like you got a good deal on the RV. It’s nice if you WANT to travel or stay put! It’s your life...your choice😊. Don’t worry about your bed not matching....as long as it’s comfortable. Besides beds in RVs are hard to make! You have made it very nice! Congrats!

This was a very welcomed surprise to see You, Olive and your (house). Loved the tour. As soon as you showed you walking in I thought, what a cozy couch with lovely pillows. Its so neat and clean. Love the mixture of blankets, I use whatever suits me at home. In the Wintertime my collection of blankets goes on me, love the coziness of them. I remember your friend, Melind with her creative accomplishment of making her then Scion XB into a livable space. I remembered it well because my vehicle is a 2006 Scion XB. and thought it was clever-ally done. Stay well and safe You and Olive. God Bless.

Hi Jimmy and Olive, I 100% agree with you on the reasons for not having a slide out. I've watched too many videos with people that have slideouts that have problems with them. Nice to see your upgrade it really must seem like being in a castle compared to living in the Van. Take care and have fun!
Jimmy I am so happy for you. I always worried about you in your van especially after you had back surgery. I know Olive has got to be in heaven too having more space to move around. I just upgraded also I’ve been full-time in a small 19 foot travel trailer with my dog Clover for five years. I just bought a 24 foot travel trailer with one slide (the kitchen )and we feel like we’re in the Taj Mahal lol. I didn’t have a oven in my small travel trailer and I really love having one. 👍🏻❤️🤗🐾

Slide outs are a PITA. NOT worth the hassle if you ask me. Good choice. I'm so happy you and Olive are settled in a larger home now. 😁😁😁

Jimmy, I just love your (new to me) Class C RV! We feel like you do, that our Class C is our house, too. We lived for 4 years in a Class C in Sonoma County, CA. In 2016 we moved to Tucson and bought a house, which we sold in March when I retired. Then we bought a (new to us) Class C again. We love that our home is moveable too. Blessings on you, Olive, and your cozy home. ❤️

What a lovely home, I'm so glad for you and and Olive, you seem so much happier. I laughed at your rock collection, I'm from NZ but lived in Europe for 10 years, where ever we went I picked up a rock, bought them home with me too. Even have a bit of castle which is well over 2000 years old, to this day I feel guilty for taking a wee stone out of the wall. Haha. Enjoy Jimmy, life's too short to settle, I'm glad you're out of the van. X
