Yay! Yay! Yay! *jumps with joy* Very good job analyzing and speculating but taking what we have actually seen into account as the most probable outcome.
+Antoine Bandele Don't jump for joy to much... Last time I saw someone do that, they landed bad and end up breaking their ankle...Ever since then I get uneasy seeing people jumping around.
+GreyJedi91 Good to see you back. While it may be a warmup, it was a well used one. This is actually the first versus upload from you that I have seen in realtime rather than it being a old one. Your great reputation precedes you and I can't wait to see more if I'm able. This versus made me think of fight between Rahm Kota vs Kopecz, but the most recent of uploads by you and Connor clearly show that my suggestions have some work to be had. Good day.
They flat-out need an anthology series. Starting with the dark Jedi leaving the order (Ajunta Pall and crew), then moving on to Exar Kun's reign, then Revan and Malak, then the Sith Triumvirate, then Malgus, then Bane and Zannah, then Tenebrous and Plagueis, then Lumaiya and Caedus, then Abeloth, then Krayt. That'd be so cool
Tyler Beckett No worries, just didn't want any hopes hanging on me :) I really appreciate the support and the fact that people actually anticipate my videos, it's crazy and wonderful and I don't think I'll ever get over the weirdness.
Grey Jedi, Thank you for returning to the Versus series with this excellent and unusual video! It is truly awesome to see so much of this content coming from you after the long absence. Thank you for taking the time and putting in the hours to create this epic video!
I just finished re-reading the Bane Trilogy and have gained a new respect for Valenthyne Farfalla. One issue I have with this versus match and many others is the massive difference in the style of the source material. If we look at the 2 comicbook series that were used as the sources they are vastly different in styles and themes. The Jedi vs Sith series is a little off the wall and goofy hence Valenthyne Farfalla is portrayed more like a wacky cartoon character where as the Legacy series is dark and more mature hence Darth Nihl is portrayed like a menacing monster. It is like neither character could exist in each others worlds. Obviously the menacing monster would defeat the wacky cartoon character. But this is a universal issue with these types of video. Then again Greyjedi your stuff is top notch and I hope you have more time to produce more.
+Darth Armis I agree it's odd. But that was part of the challenge this time. Could I get you to take Farfalla seriously? If the answer is yes, then I succeeded. If the answer is no...well then this was probably a mild waste of time. But I concede the difference between the source material is pretty extreme...at least in terms of the tone and art style. For me, that is even true of the difference between the comics and the actual Bane Trilogy itself which I obviously prefer to the earlier comic story. For me, the Bane Trilogy's account of Farfalla is the more definitive version, and doesn't clash as heavily with Legacy. But there are very few images of Farfalla outside the original comics which is why I used them extensively. "The Jedi vs Sith series is a little off the wall and goofy hence Valenthyne Farfalla is portrayed more like a wacky cartoon character where as the Legacy series is dark and more mature hence Darth Nihl is portrayed like a menacing monster." To be honest, I totally agree and that is one of my problems with SW in general. A LOT of material clashes...and not just in terms of ret-cons, but rather as you noted because they feel inorganic and disconnected and as though they do not belong in the same setting.
I like your voice, very calming and your logic in assessing a winner faultless. In fact this is the first Star Wars Universe versus battle that I not only agree with but feel you have come into it without any bias.
Good to see another VS video Matt!!! Loving the new characters (though you did use Nihl with Evan in your collab but I digress). The bio section was so well written and edited for both characters. And the whole video itself was well written and edited. Also, I agree with all verdicts presented and they were all well reasoned. This was a great video and I can't wait for more.
not totally sure i'd agree with ur verdict, but it was very well reasoned and i won't argue it, all i will say is there was just as much chance Farfarla could of ended the fight rather quickly with his superior dueling skills, but these vids do take all abilities into account so fair enough
Dude seriously? A one sided fight for ROTS Kenobi. Do you even know how powerscaling works at all or are you just requesting this because it’s your dream battle? It’s honestly ridiculous and no content creator would do this. You should know that ROTS Kenobi was obi wan’s prime and thus he would just beat all of them with no difficulty Edit: yes, I replied to this two years ago saying hello there because I’m a dumbass who didn’t think back then
Thanks for making this. I have read a bit about Farfalla in the bane trilogy but he was a fairly minor character until his death. Even so he was always interesting to me as it always seemed as though there was something more to such a strange character. As such its nice to learn a bit more about him. As always great video!
+GreyJedi91 can i ask you two questions? do you ever keep count of which star wars character has the most wins in your VS videos? and would you ever be willing to collaborate with Antoine bandelee,Reti4,Jensaarai1 and Evan Nova in a star wars character vs Tournament?
+Space Invader I don't really consciously keep track of wins/losses, but I do take notice of characters who tend to win/lose frequently. But as of now my focus is on exploring characters I feel are either not afforded the respect they deserve or else are rather obscure. I have a lot of matches that I will produce independently, but I also have a few collaborations in mind with the others. Whether they'd want to do something as ambitious and time consuming as a tournament is something I have not discussed with them.
+GreyJedi91 that be something interesting to see. you would have to go through a phase of two brackets a jedi side and a sith side and the ultimate winner gets to face the other in a single match up or just get the most balanced characters and do a mix bracket with them all and the eventual winner gets to be Lord king of the friggin moon. this of course is merely a humble suggestion from yours truly have a happy Tuesday GreyMan!.
He sticks out like sore thumb with the rest of the characters. He’s like half goat and dresses like royalty and has a space ship that looks more asgardian than Star Wars. I don’t have any personal grudge against him but I see why others might
Along side Kit Fisto, Valenthyne Farfalla is my 'all' time favorite jedi. His look and personality are so radically unique that its near impossible not to like him.
Grand Master Yoda..er, I meanness greyjedi91 it is a glorious day to see you return. I'll be honest you are someone to be admired, as this video must of really taken the definition of painstaking research. When I saw this video I didn't think it was a fair fight as I thought Farfalla was way out of Nihl's league due to his battles in the fields. This video showed me that I had overestimated him and I very greatly underestimated Nihl. This video was as sweet as a great dessert. It truly was a joy to see a video from you again Greyjedi91. Your patience and intelligence are unrivaled and you may as well be the Steven Hawking of Star Wars. George Lucas himself would give you an award. Cheers good sir and the force is strong with you. 😇😇😇
Wish I knew what kind of system you're using to give use a full close up of the big pictures. Doesn't exactly work on Movie Maker. For a moment, I thought Farfall was gonna win, thanks to his great skill with the lightsaber. But for once, Nihl takes this fight with the Force and cunning. For other match-ups, why not take the time to analyze Xanatos, Depa Billaba, Ferus Olin, Aurra Sing, Vestara Khai, and Tahiri Veila? They make very great underrated duelists. Would you like me to explain?
GreyJedi91 Ferus had been Anakin's arch rival during their Padawan years. A year after the duel on Mustafar, Obi-Wan considered Ferus' Force connection to be second to that of Anakin. You can find further analysis in this respect thread: www.comicvine.com/profile/fated_xtasy/blog/ferus-olin-respect-thread/104236/ Depa had developed more blade work than Mace on Vaapad, and she was especially more "elegant." Need I add "brutally efficient?" She's said to be Mace's peer. Any further info can be found here: www.comicvine.com/profile/fated_xtasy/blog/depa-billaba-respect-thread/101204/ The upcoming issues of the _Kanan_ comics would show how she'd managed to get out of her coma, maybe shed light on more of her abilities. As for Vestara, some of my colleagues say she'd be no match for the likes of Asajj Ventress and S.O.D. Darth Maul. Maybe not even Vader. Care to test that theory sometime?
Wow. I felt like you made a better case for farfalla all video long and then just gave it it to nihl. Especially since farfalla is perfectly suited to face an opponent like nihl. Anyways, I love the videos, and you have a great voice and tone for this, keep it up!
I would love to see a video that had visas marr vs .....whoever she is a character i never see utilized in vs videos and i think that's just missed opportunity
I don't think these two would really have all that much in common to talk about, they have very different personalities after all. Valenthyne at his core is a very social person. He's charismatic, diplomatically savvy and politically astute. Truthfully I think had more Jedi in Kuro's time been as personable as Farfalla Palpatine would have had a far harder time turning public opinion against the Jedi Order.
still feel like you guys underestimate the virtue of a staff weapon and surprise in combat. I also dont think its fair to discount someones abilities when they run across the main character of a story line and lose to them, because everyone looses to them. I dont think fighters like Nihil and Maul get enough credit when it comes to fighting in these duels, the ability to change pace in a fight keeping your opponent unsure of what will come next is a great advantage. These are the kinds of situations in which great warriors akin to vader and malgus would loose a battle to someone who may seem less skilled at a glance(dont think vader would lose to anyone really he's just too over powered, though he sorta got beat by boba fett sorta...).
A lightpike is not the exact same thing as real-world staff weapons, but even if it were, it is the in-universe fact (that is to say the professional opinion of a character actually versed in the art and living within the star wars mythos) that the light pike and saberstaff utilize the same combat principles. Therefore the same advantages (which were noted...I didn't say the weapon sucked) and the same disadvantages. Skarch Vaunk, Battle Master during the post-Battle of Ruusan Jedi Order says so in "The Jedi Path." You say I underestimate it. But you don't say how. So I'm not really sure what you're objection is, but I do feel the need to defend the point since I feel I did mention the weapon's good qualities. As to your point about not being able to count feats because they lost to a main character...I don't even know how to address that. I'll just say I strongly disagree with that point and leave it at that.
I also agree. Not to mention, leverage and reach are MASSIVE advantages to have in a blade-based battle. Just ask any HEMA enthusiast. Yes, it is a large target, but users of such weapons likely have styles which compensate for this weakness, much like how vader changed his style to compensate for the weaknesses of his suit. Not to mention, precautions CAN be taken to make a strike to the hilt less viable (cortosis, beskar, etc)
Here are some versus series ideas! The Blunt Brutes: Savage Opress vs. Xalek The Bitter Immortals: Lord Scourge (as Emperor's Wrath) vs. Darth Sion The Inquisitor Manhunters: Maw vs. Seventh Sister The Cloaking Jar'kai Wildcards: Boc'Aseca vs. Maris Brood The Dark Masterminds: Vitiate vs. Darth Nihilus The Polymaths: Meetra Surik vs. Mara Jade The Prodigy Juggernauts: Desann vs. Darth Marr The Inexperienced Potentials: Yun vs. Bao-Dur (jedi-trained) + Remote Droid The Young Field Warriors: Nadia Grell vs. Sev'rance Tann The Unpredictables: Komari Vosa vs. Silri The Different Cyborgs: Darth Skotia vs. Darth Vader The Chaotics: Kit Fisto vs. Assaj Ventress The Illusionists: Darth Phobos vs. Volfe Karkko The High Mages: Karness Muur vs. Atris The Unexpected: Darth Jadus vs. Kyle Katarn The Dance of Blades: Darth Nihl vs. Ashoka Tano as Fulcrum The Battle of Beasts: Khem Val vs. Onimi The Cat and the Dog: Juhani vs Knol Ven'nari
greyjedi91 u should make a what if video on what would happen if yoda and the father from the star wars clone wars animation ever met my theory is that yoda might become his student and be inspired by his higher understanding of the force or he might reject the fathers knowledge be I do believe the father uses the complete force like a grey jedi but at a much higher level and doesn't split it into light side or dark side this would be so interesting to hear about as I see the father the son and daughter are so under credited and this would be vary interesting to hear what u think about what if the father and yoda ever met.?
Could you make a video going in depth about curved hilts. I hear the so called advantages of greater grip, balance and leverage but I fail to see how the curved hilt achieves this. Also a verus match incorporating the sith lord that used a vibro-shield would be interesting. He was part of Galen Marek's Trials in the force unleashed. (At least the wii version :') )
The Brotherhood of Darkness was a confederacy, and Kaan a middling weak monarch. Darth Krayt's One Sith that Nihl was a part of, was a cult. And Krayt the cult leader, and who would beat Kaan's ass in 0.2 seconds.
So I have a stupid question. If a Lightsaber can block Force Lightning and Darth Nihl's Lightning wasn't better than "average". Why can't Farfalla just defend against the lightning with his Lightsaber until he can win the day? I don't think that someone who's lead many campaigns against Sith and won did not have at least that option for dealing with Lightning.
+Redpoppy This is indeed possible. The reason why I ruled in favor of Nihl was because Farfalla has never been observed using that tactic. That doesn't mean it couldn't happen though.
+Redpoppy I don't think it's an easy thing to do with Force Lightning, to just use the saber to deflect it, I think it takes some technique for that. However, you do have a good point in that, if it's during such a major conflict that he took part in, it'd be worth at least considering him capable of doing so. Considering how commonplace it may have been. However it might've been just in regular lightsaber combat. We don't actually get to see much of the actual fighting sadly
+sonic8005 I don't think it is "easy" to block Force Lightning regardless of how one would go about it. If you talk about a Jedi from the Clone Wars for example you have to assume that they can't defend themselves against lightning unless you see them actually do it or they are a noted master of Tutaminis because it was such a rare power that Jedi just didn't see a lot at that time. All I am saying is I don't think it is to far of a stretch to think that a Sith slayer did not have effective answers to the common tactics employed by the very enemies that he/she optimized them-self to defeat and survived for years when the standard is "win" or "die". I don't disagree with GrayJedi's verdict at all I am just addressing what I think is mild low balling of Jedi's capabilities in combat because Jedi are not as expressive or aggressive as Sith.
Very precise very exact I agree with your decision to make. The victor and to further elaborate on the other guy and ambushing as a valid combat tactic you are of the dark side playing by the rules is not essentially something they do
+Kristopher Creecy I think people underestimate it, if one's used to a long hilt it really is not a hindrance to speak of, and extra leverage and reach are quite nice.
Farfalla is my favorite Star Wars character. Force shields are such a unique ability and his lightsaber color is Just amazing. Hopefully he will make an appearance in some form in the future.
jensarri and grey Jedi uploaded a video on the same day... if I go out side see the moons turned blue im done dam its good to watch the grandmaster take to the field once more
I would have given a like no matter what the outcome was, but Nihl's win makes it so much better. I truly wish Legacy would have continued. I would trade a thousand new films for that series to go on. The only one I think I enjoyed more was Crimson Empire.
Personally, I find Farfalla to be quite underrated. I haven't read the Jedi vs. Sith comics, but I really liked him in the Darth Bane books. I don't know what I saw that made me like him, probably because he was an over the top version of Dooku which I found amusing.P. S. Are you going to make regular (or at least semi-regular) appearances on the Forcecast now?
I'm in the same boat. Farfalla to me is a type of Jedi I feel the order needed more of. Social, charismatic, diplomatically savvy and politically astute. If more Jedi had been like him Palpatine would have had a far harder time turning public opinion against the Jedi Order. And to top those points off he's still unquestionably loyal to the Jedi, he's a brave man, a good and effective commander and a compassionate person. I feel a lot of the people that don't like him focus on his personality quirks rather than the true core of who he is as a person.
+Penguinater They might, but I like to avoid blatant guesswork if I can. He was noted to be nimble and graceful in source material, but that was never attributed directly to the nature of his species. For a long time, his species was an unclassified mystery. I'd say your belief is still very possible though.
+GreyJedi91 Thank for the explanation it good that you used Farfalla because I feel political Jedi like him don't get the respect they deserve. In the the darth bane book Farfalla is my farovite jedi not because of his action but the knowledge and compassion he shows
+Adriano Ricci Makes sense. I think that's why some of the pasta I buy shares the name too. We call it bowtie over hear but I imagine it was named for the butterfly.
Naw, in fact, the original Jedi (the Jedaii 'jed-a-yee') not only had relations. But they often had sons and daughters who were immensely powerful in the Force. Such as the Qel-Droma brothers or Vima Sunrider (who's mom was the grandmaster of the Jedi at the time) the whole no sex and no marriage thing came about when a jedi named Odan-Urr became the new grandmaster of the jedi. He thought that a true Jedi should have a general love for all beings and that traditional displays of affection led to attachment and greed ( case and point Anakin) It wasn't until Luke Skywalkers jedi order that marriage and sex was reintroduced to the Jedi. Luke himself had a wife and son.
+sjaws99 Real reason so many Sith from the time looked like that: because Darth Maul knock-offs help sell a product. Lore reason is because after their training was complete, most Sith from that era were given their tattoos as a sign of their allegiance to the "One Sith" order and their devotion to Lord Krayt and affiliation with the dark side blah blah blah. Additionally, almost every Sith from that time had been trained from birth on Korriban...pretty similar to what the Jedi used to do on Coruscant. I am unsure why Krayt himself chose to remain unmarked as I don't remember if he ever gave an explanation for this...likely to make him stand out as was the leader in actuality, but I'm unsure about an in-lore account for this. But Nihl was one of the notable exceptions who was not born a Sith and came late to the order as an adult. He was also considerably more ambitious and individualistic than most of his peers. That is the most likely reason why they chose a more unique design for him...to fit his character.
+GreyJedi91 I think that Darth Maul was cool in the Phantom Menace, but his story ended then, and when they brought him back as a monster instead of the tactician he seemed to be in the movie, I found it a massive disgrace, and I HATE the idea of making as many knock-offs of Darth Maul as possible.
+Brickwielder Fair enough. This was a little experimental in that I tried something similar to one of Connor's videos where he made the final advantage the end conclusion. I thought it was a good formula to avoid repeating myself. But you're not the first with this opinion. I'll take it into account for future projects.
Yay! Yay! Yay! *jumps with joy*
Very good job analyzing and speculating but taking what we have actually seen into account as the most probable outcome.
+Antoine Bandele 2fokinghappy4me
+Antoine Bandele Don't jump for joy to much... Last time I saw someone do that, they landed bad and end up breaking their ankle...Ever since then I get uneasy seeing people jumping around.
Hello Antoine
Hello
A well crafted video and a good exploration of the characters. Nicely done my friend. :)
+EvanNova95 Thank you!
+GreyJedi91 Good to see you back. While it may be a warmup, it was a well used one. This is actually the first versus upload from you that I have seen in realtime rather than it being a old one. This versus made me think of fight between Rahm Kota vs Kopecz, but the most recent of uploads by you and Connor clearly show that my suggestions have some work to be had. Good day.
+GreyJedi91 Welcome back, sir. Welcome back. As always, this is very well put together and enjoyable. May the Force be with you.
I would love to see Lord Valenthyne, Lord Hoth and the Army of Light in a CGI film in the style of SWKTOR.
This would be epic, with a soundtrack like the music of the Clone Cadets
Just get rid of the ridiculous art choices from the comics
They MUST be made CANON!!
That'd be so cool
they should've put this in the old republic series
And he's baaack.
Am I sensing a pattern? Connor posted yesterday, Matthew uploaded today, so does that mean you, Callen, will post tomorrow? I wonder?
Tyler Beckett I'll be honest with you, I'm not going to be posting a video tomorrow. Sorry to disappoint. Soon though, I hope to soon.
It's cool, I was joking. I understand that you are very busy; I can relate. Do what you need to do, dude.
Tyler Beckett No worries, just didn't want any hopes hanging on me :) I really appreciate the support and the fact that people actually anticipate my videos, it's crazy and wonderful and I don't think I'll ever get over the weirdness.
Reti4 I hear you man. Good luck!
I forgot how much I missed these videos. A great match up, oddly enough. The Glam Metal Jedi vs The Black Metal Sith XD
.... You win. Perfect comment.
Profane Historian black metel wins
Profane Historian witch one am i
Grey Jedi, Thank you for returning to the Versus series with this excellent and unusual video! It is truly awesome to see so much of this content coming from you after the long absence. Thank you for taking the time and putting in the hours to create this epic video!

wait i minute?
jensaarai uploads the same day grey jedi makes a return
ITS A CONSPIRACY
Holy shit your right
I like your voice, very calming and your logic in assessing a winner faultless. In fact this is the first Star Wars Universe versus battle that I not only agree with but feel you have come into it without any bias.
+Jason Martel Thanks! I do try to be unbiased, but hey...not perfect. Glad this time I succeeded :)
YES! your back, I'm so glad. I hope your going to be doing more videos again!
Good to see you posting again :)
+Yamikage Takara Thanks! Kind of a warm up match. Got a lot more planned.

I was think and I wonder if it's possible to all versions of Kenobi battle royal? Padawan Kenobi vs Knight Kenobi vs Master Kenobi vs Ben Kenobi.
Zach Hamell Master Kenobi or Ben Kenobi would easily win, but cool idea I suppose.
ROTS Kenobi > Everyone else.

Tis September as he has appeared as the prophecy foretold
Welcome back Matt, quite a good entrance with this video
I liked this match up very much, both are characters that I feel are underrated. Thanks for the effort and good work!
I appreciate you taking the time to make your videos. I understand that life happens and time is precious. Thank you c:
This is one of my all-time favorite SWVS videos. Awesome idea for the matchup and very balanced all around.
This has been a badass month for versus videos. Glad to see you back.
To be honest, I had kinda forgotten that Valenthyne existed.
Outstanding video. Glad to have you back!
Makashi users always end up losing their heads to Form V users.
Thanks for making this. I have read a bit about Farfalla in the bane trilogy but he was a fairly minor character until his death. well ill be damned! Grey Jedi and Jensaarai videos in the same week.
+Space Invader Wasn't planned that way, but it works out nicely!

Hell ya,must be Christmas: )
This was definitely a creative one! Great job
glad to see so much new new content from you!
Glad to see you are making more videos GreyJedi91!
Why does everyone hate Farfalla... he was my fav
Mark Khauv. Not my fav but was a great character. Wouldn’t mind naming my son that, very unique.
Farfalla is one of the more underrated characters from the Darth Bane trilogy.
Because he was one of the jedi fools that allowed the Ro2 to remain, any smart jedi master, would bring more masters to get Bane plus a apprentice.
He sticks out like sore thumb with the rest of the characters. He’s like half goat and dresses like royalty and has a space ship that looks more asgardian than Star Wars. I don’t have any personal grudge against him but I see why others might
I love him
Glad you're back
I agree with your analysis of Nihl 100%, I love how well executed your videos are dude. Excited for your next video
+SciFi Soup Thank you. Something about your channel avatar tells me you may enjoy it more than most.
Yes Legacy is definitely up there on my list, I think it holds many of the most overlooked characters. Especially Wolf and Shado
+SciFi Soup Until today, I had no idea you made videos. Very good work so far!
GreyJedi91
thanks :) It's very fun, and ultimately we all owe it to you for pioneering this great community
That was the best Nihl breakdown ever
I love Valenthyne Farfalla he's so excentric ! But when push comes to shove, he can crack skulls.
glad to see that you're back 😃I always like your videos
Along side Kit Fisto, Valenthyne Farfalla is my 'all' time favorite jedi. His look and personality are so radically unique that its near impossible not to like him.
He's not among my absolute favourites but he is among my favourites in the Darth Bane trilogy and I feel he's often underestimated/unappreciated
A Sarcastic Avatar very true my friend, very true.
You have a great voice man.
0:43 is that a god damn Yautja part of the jedi council ? XD
DwarfKing 😂😂😂😂😂

Grey, very well done. Thank-you, Dante.

+DarthWill3 I'm putting together videos for Xanatos and Aurra Sing at the moment, but you can explain about the others if you like :)
+DarthWill3 Oh, and I use Sony Vegas Pro 11 to edit my videos.
GreyJedi91
Ferus had been Anakin's arch rival during their Padawan years. A year after the duel on Mustafar, Obi-Wan considered Ferus' Force connection to be second to that of Anakin. You can find further analysis in this respect thread: www.comicvine.com/profile/fated_xtasy/blog/ferus-olin-respect-thread/104236/
Depa had developed more blade work than Mace on Vaapad, and she was especially more "elegant." Need I add "brutally efficient?" She's said to be Mace's peer.
Minor characters all over the place. Love it!
Good to see another video from you :)
Wow. I felt like you made a better case for farfalla all video long and then just gave it it to nihl. Especially since farfalla is perfectly suited to face an opponent like nihl. Anyways, I love the videos, and you have a great voice and tone for this, keep it up!
Tradução para portugues seria im,portante, existe esse videos em portugues?
I would love to see a video that had visas marr vs .....whoever she is a character i never see utilized in vs videos and i think that's just missed opportunity
I would like to see a discussion between Anya Kuro and Valentine Farfalla on the topic of 'should a jedi have possession'
What starwars carictors and the way they fight are cumparible too the red lotus
I love your work
still feel like you guys underestimate the virtue of a staff weapon and surprise in combat.

Welcome back
greyjedi91 u should make a what if video on what would happen if yoda and the father from the star wars clone wars animation ever met my theory is that yoda might become his student and be inspired by his higher understanding of the force or he might reject the fathers knowledge be I do believe the father uses the complete force like a grey jedi but at a much higher level and doesn't split it into light side or dark side this would be so interesting to hear about as I see the father the son and daughter are so under credited and this would be vary interesting to hear what u think about what if the father and yoda ever met.?
Could you make a video going in depth about curved hilts. I hear the so called advantages of greater grip, balance and leverage but I fail to see how the curved hilt achieves this.
Also a verus match incorporating the sith lord that used a vibro-shield would be interesting. He was part of Galen Marek's Trials in the force unleashed. (At least the wii version :') )
he was also in the ps2 version but not the xbox360 one I can't speak for any other versions as those three are the only ones I've played
Gnost Dural vs Plo Koon
Who is the better Kel Dor jedi?
is it just me or does the Brotherhood of Darkness remind you of a cult and Kaan a cult leader
The Brotherhood of Darkness was a confederacy, and Kaan a middling weak monarch.
Darth Krayt's One Sith that Nihl was a part of, was a cult. And Krayt the cult leader, and who would beat Kaan's ass in 0.2 seconds.
Yay!!! Its good to see you again :D
Great video.
Magnificent, as usual
damn. legacy era sith don't mess around.
Connor makes a video. Well there's something.
Greyjedi releases a video a day later *Spits out all of my teeth* Stop the presses!
Happy Valenthyne's Day!
Yay your back 😁
Do a video with hazen
Lucien Draay VS Revan
i like this alot, its good to find out about the star wars universe
Wo! go Farfalla, glory to lord Slaneeesh prince of pleasure and decadence and pain. Oh wait, wrong Sci-Fi fantasy universe, sorry I'll see myself out.
this was a wonderful video
man, i totally forgot that the sith war had actually jedis from narnia in it. how could i ever forget those?
Darth Nihl looks wicked
so how does Darth Nilhul activate his lightsaber
Lol
TheNuisanceBird
im just saying where is the button at to activate?
What is the music used in this?
+Apex9822 Looking for a specific track? Need a time code please.
What was the music playing at the end?
How about lord Hoth vs yoda
Very precise very exact I agree with your decision to make. The victor and to further elaborate on the other guy and ambushing as a valid combat tactic you are of the dark side playing by the rules is not essentially something they do
I agree with your opinion on Nihl's weapon. I'm not really a big fan of it either.
i seem to be in the minority of those who actually like it
Possibly.
I'm just not a fan of it because it seems twice as limited as a saberstaff.
i dunno i like, think of having it with a bludgeoning end and a slashing end
you have the reach of the staff but only one end can kill you
Valid :/
+Kristopher Creecy I think people underestimate it, if one's used to a long hilt it really is not a hindrance to speak of, and extra leverage and reach are quite nice.
Farfalla is my favorite Star Wars character. Force shields are such a unique ability and his lightsaber color is Just amazing. Hopefully he will make an appearance in some form in the future.
My legendary Dark Master Darth Bane crushed him. Mighty Sith'ari! hahahaha!
jensarri and grey Jedi uploaded a video on the same day... if I go out side see the moons turned blue im done dam its good to watch the grandmaster take to the field once more
I would have given a like no matter what the outcome was, but Nihl's win makes it so much better. I truly wish Legacy would have continued. I would trade a thousand new films for that series to go on. The only one I think I enjoyed more was Crimson Empire.
Battle of the tacticians
Admiral Thrawn vs Admiral Ackbar
Thrawn Vs Revan would also be interesting
Darth Revan vs Mace Windu
They kinda went out of their way to point out farfalla is gay without saying it lol
Kyle Katarn vs Darth Plagueis
Obi wan vs darth nihil,Kyle kartan, exar kun or darth revan
Darth Vader vs Obi-Wan Kenobi ( Revenge of the Sith ) seeing how Vader developed his new lightsaber technique in response to his defeat on Mustafar.
Interesting that you don't give Farfalla a physical edge for his leg as I would believe that they would give him more power and speed than a human
In the the darth bane book Farfalla is my farovite jedi not because of his action but the knowledge and compassion he shows
Farfalla means butterfly in italian
+Adriano Ricci Makes sense. I think that's why some of the pasta I buy shares the name too. We call it bowtie over hear but I imagine it was named for the butterfly.
someone needs to do darth maul vs darth nihl
darth maul all the way
Maul would wreck that guy.
nice work man I dig Darth nihl alot
Exar Kun VS Luke Skywalker
I have a.......err......theory......regarding Farfalla's flamboyant nature...
Carlos D Rodriguez he's NOT gay damn it!!!!
@@QoQabai658 The more you know
why are Darth Nihl and Darth Krayt the only Legacy era Sith that don't look like Darth Maul knock-offs
+sjaws99 and again, thank you for responding, I like that you listen to your fanbase.
Great video! But I feel like the ending was far too abrupt.
+Brickwielder Fair enough. This was a little experimental in that I tried something similar to one of Connor's videos where he made the final advantage the end conclusion. I thought it was a good formula to avoid repeating myself. But you're not the first with this opinion. I'll take it into account for future projects.
Mara Jade Skywalker VS Darth Zannah
