I would have loved this set as a kid because I always wanted a take on modern looking soldiers and guns. If nothing else, the container is super rad for a collector and I might have to check the Dollar Generals near me for availability because it's not eligible for shipping at the moment, I'm just a sucker for good deals in this age of needless inflation. I will say though, and this has always been the case for me, I can't stand mixing scales (vehicles aside) and I always prefer the 1:32 scale over everything because that's what I had growing up and that's what I saw in the 3DO games; either Tim Mee mold products or copies of those. Currently, I'll be collecting the Tim Mee stuff because I can justify my money being spent on made in America... Uh... Plastic. Not a huge fan of scales smaller than 1:32 but thanks for the heads up on this one, as long as it's green, it's golden. Have you done or will you do a review on some of the Tim Mee toys vehicles like the Air Support Helicopters or Rescue Helicopters? Those look rad to me because my favorite game for the PS2 was Army Men: Air Attack 2.
made in china has people thinking we have almost no america estate these days & for decades of heavy outsourcing, if we send our mass materials over there for its cheaper cost of assembly, not only do actual americans get laid-off, china gets to put their label to claim it is "made in china" on industry design and become more well read than a modern best-seller... these infantry look like authentic set pieces that were actually from china, as they look like the modern revolutionaries found over there.. - just saying - - €π[) - ~WarriorPoet~
The reason these soldiers appear to have odd weapons like stick grenades and tiny mortars is the fact they are based on the equipment of the modern People's Republic of China Liberation Army. The style of body armor and helmet pattern is a dead give away. They still use stick grenades and have a one man portable 50mm mortar similar to the "knee mortar" grenade launcher the Japanese had in WWII. Mr Warcrime there is carrying a PF-98 unguided anti tank rocket launcher which makes him downing a civilian aircraft with it even more hilarious.😂
Good review! I have spotted this set at Dollar General on and off over the last year. Does look like a good set. I just don't buy modern Army men. If these were "retro" I would get a few of them.
The first set that you reviewd in this vid i have the same one but instead of a giant tank i got a agint helicopter which is pretty cool plus instead i got 80 army men so basically 40 grey army men and 40 green army menso i think the helicopter is alot bigger than the tank plus i got like femces and stuff so yea really cool
"THE OLD MURTIS SAID - THINK ON THESE THINGS" you have misplaced your vigor for thrills of the magic we added during our youth - not to mention most of us had only birthday & holiday cash to buy such powerhouses.. what you need back, is the path to your lost jubilations (plus one other 'army corps brigandier', chancing to oppose your strategms using plastic tactic).. with no playouts of best battle renditions between the big kids, our army men serve a diorama of frozen time in a skirmish tha never really sees any victory.. when in the days back awhile, my contender & the tiny battalions were much cheaper quality - because we'd never put high detail conscript to the ravages of velocity wars; we shot up those buck-a-bag soldiers.. anyhow, if you find your path, it will finally give up what used to be an excess commodity for such forgetful children, the magic we used to sprinkle on everything that wasn't just flat-out lame, regardless.. gotta be there to do it, right - not the same over internet cosmetic versions of backyard battlefields; try going dual solo, something's just plain wtong about that call of calamity.. maybe, next round - good luck with that unblazoned ride out to where you're hidden & let us know when you find it, again.. i know the feeling, brudda... - €π[) - ~WarriorPoet~

gotta be there to do it, right - not the same over internet cosmetic versions of backyard battlefields; try going dual solo, something's just plain wtong about that call of calamity..
