Sir, how we can decide the shape of the column in a location? I mean what are the factors that affect the decision of shaping a column whether square or circular?
For residential buildings where you need to do the brickwork between the columns its better to have a square or a rectangular section. If there are no walls then we can go for circular sections because they offer higher resistance to buckling than square or rectangular sections.
sir my doubt is about column stirrup. recently I changed my massion bcoz of his poor knowledge work. my new massion suggested me to extend the stirrups bcoz of large column size actually my column size is 15×9 inch but stirrup dimesnion is 9×6 he suggest me to extend it to 12×6 but the problem here is to change all stirrups for total of 9columns . what will I do now. can I continue with old dimensions or to follow my new massion rules.

Please make a complete video on design of a whole building using these calculations🙏🙏🙏
I need this video like u 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Sir, please make a complete design and calculation of a 3 story building for practical uses..

This is really helpful you make it way simpler than the lecturer I had
This channel is GOLD!
very good technical and important information for civil engineers
excellent column steel area , concrete area & gross area calculation rule & column size calculation rule # 👍👍👍
Practical design necessary for House Owners 🙏🇮🇳
I'm from Indonesia, Thank's for this your video tutorial. This great's for basic design
Sir, what is the formula to assume rectangular column ?
Reminder set on
Excellent teaching sir
I love this channel
Good explanation
Thanks
You are outstanding sir💯👏🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the great video - - I believe “mm” is “millimeters”
Liked n Subscribed 😊❤
Sir how the loads applied on a column is calculated if we don't know the column dimension?
Make a complete video from roof slab to foundation
Thanks a lot
Sir 'Pu' ki value kaise pata krni h..???
Column size toh baad Mai design ho payega 😲
Super
great
I hope you do your videos in English...
Looking forward to watch ☺️
can you please make a video about steel column and joint?
Hello Sir, have you ever used PKPM for structural drawings?

Nice your place
kindly tell how to find dimensions of rectangular column by gross area
Bhai ji square size hi niklega kya rectangular size k liye kya h formula
sir my doubt is about column stirrup.

Sir, Please how did you come up with the "88785mm sq as the result?" Because the I add up (0.4x20x0.99+0.67x415x0.01) = 10.7005. thank you
sir plz make a highway engineering course for me
How can we now a building have so much of load it can carry?
How to know how much load is acting
What if w and d are equal?
w/d will not work
How we get to know that how much load is acting on it?.expecting a clear amswer..
I will make a separate video on load calculation in future.
@@CivilTutor its kinda needed answer for now...
@@CivilTutor as per my knowledge, should we consider ,dead load, live load ,self weight and slab load
@@Avis9989 Yes you are right. But while calculating slab load we should consider only 25% of the slab load.
