    You described it well. I hate how Deja treated her mom but I do get it. If you feel like your parent is to blame for breaking up the family, I guess I would be upset too. I love how Josiah went to counseling and realized he needed it.

      Yeah, I hated the way Deja treated her mom too. I felt like she should have been checked a bit sooner. Lol. I understand her pain and anger but the level of disrespect was hard. Kennedy Ryan did a good job writing that because wooh!
      Yes, Josiah going to counseling and seeing he needed it was a big highlight of the book. I felt Yasmen though, it was like why didn’t he go for her? But if he had went for her, it was to admit he needed help. Going for Kassim was really just a front to make Kassim feel comfortable. Then he messed around and started healing. Ha!
