Hi Im your people! I enjoy reading but I am a slow reader and do not read a lot of books per month either. I am currently reading Viola Davis memoir - it is so good and im just on chapter 3, Definitely recommend her memoir if you are into memoirs.

Totally reading the Abby J. series out of order. Lol. Heard good things about Just for the Summer and dived in before realizing it’s part of a series. 🤦🏽‍♀️. It’s good though and supposedly can be read as a stand alone. I’m of course gonna go back and read the others. Currently reading Strawberry Lane. A book I found at Office Max of all places. Title reminded me of summer so I’m reading it. Thanks for sharing.

Glad to hear your mom is doing well. Last week I had to come to your page to make sure my notifications were turned on when I realized it had been a while since I've seen you post. The book sounds interesting, I don't mind YA books. I love free, so sign me up for the contest.

I also read Wander in the Dark and enjoyed it. I think this book does a great job of discussing biasness against minorities in the criminal justice system. I def did not suspect the murderer. I suggest you also check out The Black Queen by Jumata Emil also. Very good. I'm not interested in the giveaway book, so I won't enter. Hope it goes to a good home.

I was debating whether or not I should read this book. I got stuck with a lot of Lisa Jewell books and she has been my favorite author ever since! I am so glad that I picked up this book and read it. What I love about this book was the timing of the events that couldn't be any better! Also, the plot was well developed and kept you engaged! I hate some books when they keep dragging on and on with chapters and you forgot what the purpose of this chapter was all about. The chapters were short and well on point! I just felt that at the end was really twisted and some aspects of it shouldn't have been so dragged on! The cover of this book was highly exaggerated. I was expecting Millie more locked in her room and watching these people all the time to discover their secrets. Nothing of what you were expecting was related to the plot of this story. So that part I was a bit disappointed with the book. Otherwise this book was a great story! One of the best books I have read so far.

Loved your reviews. I have read 'Honey & Spice' @ & I loved the banter between the 2 main characters even though am a bit too old for it. But I enjoyed listening to the Audiobook. I have seen 'The Other Black Girl' doing rounds here in Germany but most of my online bookish friends have told me not to get it 😂.

I read Honey and Spice last month as well. I had the same reaction. It was a good book, but Keke had a pouty mouth that was a lot.😅 The other black girl started well, but I didn't like the ending. So it was a 2 star for me.

I just finished The Housemaid's Secret today and was ready to start next book but it isnt available until June 11th. Thank you for introducing me to these books. I still need to go back to your video on The Housemaid. I'm sure The Other Black Girl would be much easier to watch on Hulu. I know people who read it and watched the series, liked the series better. I only watched it. The Coworker is another one I read because of you and I'm now a thriller fan.

Freida McFadden is becoming one of my favorite authors . One of my book projects is to make a top 10 favorite author list :) . I need more authors lol for my list

These books do sound good. I'm a thriller fan now thanks to your recommendation of The Coworker and saying that it's the book that got your sister reading. I started The Housemaid yesterday and I'm ready to keep going down the rabbit hole of anything by Freida McFadden.

I usually get in a reading slump if I read too many thrillers back to back. I will have to cleanse my palette with a historical, literary or contemporary fiction book. Sometimes it’ll be a while before I pick up a thriller even though it’s one of my favorite genres. P.S.: Just subscribed to your sister’s channel.

The first book sounds a little like the movies "Along Came a Spider" and "Twisted" all the books sound good ❤ great vlog!

I need to read The Housemaid’s Secret. The Housemaid wasn’t my favorite thriller, but it had some good twists and it was a fast-paced, page-turner for sure! So I do want to read the second one!

I need to pick up The Housemaid!! One of my favorites so far this year is Here After by Amy Lin. A sad read but very good!
