This Italian inspired painting tutorial really made your viewers sit up and pay attention. Painting the illusion of mist over what you just painted is a scary endeavor. Thanks you so much for teaching us how it’s done in such an understandable manner. John’s filming is always so perfect that it’s like we’re in the room with you. Everyone was truly impressed and enjoying another fantastic tutorial. 💞
Thanks so much, your support and kind comments mean a lot. Art hugs from Jon and me.
More of a challenge with all the variation of colors in the perspective of spaced rows and drive way. Could get very frustrating, and still have a mess. Don’t think I will ever give this one a try. Can’t do them all even if I really wanted to. But always love all the colors.
Thanks for all your effort and time sharing.
Thank you
Another fabulous Monday evening and lesson. I loved watching this painting come together. I learned how you blend on the canvas and make roads look genuine. This painting just makes me dream of living in that house! What a beauty. Thank you so much Ginger and Jon for sharing your time and talents with us. You two are the best.
Gosh, thanks so much, and Jon and I so appreciate your taking your Monday evenings with us to moderate the show.
Thank you for yet another fabulous lesson Ginger!
I have to say that your rendition tops the reference photo. It's just beautiful ❤️

Glad it was helpful! Happy Art Hugs (HAH)

So beautiful Ginger! Love watching how you metamorphosize a blank canvas to an nostalgic Italian country house. Magnifico!
Thank you so much! Jon and I hope you have fun with this.
"Yes and YES!
Dear Ginger, LUV the painting you just completed. I also fell in love with "Island Time" the painting you shared with us at the end of your tutotal.. John informed me that is was not published and no plan yet to do so. PLEASE, consider to show us how to paint that delightful painting, as many people will find refuge from winter on the Island so the subject will not be "out of season"
It will be released for as a downloadable lesson for sale, as well as part of the Academy on line art school for red and purple members later this fall.
@@gingercooklive THANK YOU, I am very happy to pay for it and download it.
Love it❤
Ginger, I love your color mixing! I learn so much from you❤
Thanks so much 😊
Changing microphones did not produce the outcome you wanted, I’m afraid.
We played it back and the sound was good. I asked our moderators and they said they had good sound. but I may move my mike to the front of my shirt for the next show.
@@gingercooklive after your husband changed it, he was very loud and you were very low. I had to keep changing the volume to accommodate who was speaking. It was very distracting. I guess it was just on my end. Thank you for responding and thank you so much for the inspiring tutorials!!!
Hey Ginger, is you battery system hooked up yet?
I am about half way done with this painting, I love making that foggy stuff with those smuggie brushes lots of fun. Never had so much fun with my zinc white. Thanks for the tutorial! Love you guys hope your system for the house is problem free.
They came this am and spent the day hooking it all up. Now the cable buy is fixing the internet fiber optic cable they accidentally cut when digging a new gas line....
@@gingercooklive oh man I guess they forgot to find those lines before digging. They are struck here in California about that stuff, or anything else you want to do. Errrrr…. gover mentals.
Fantastic lesson. Still learning from you every day Ginger. You are the only one that teaches this style. Simply love this painting. Going to do both this and the challenge companion. Thank you.
Oh I am so glad you like it. How fun would it be to rent a house like that in Italy and do a painting workshop there. I hope things are going better for you "climate wise"....... Jon and I got our generator installed today. The plumbers for the gas line accidentally cut the fiber optic cable ... but we called and just a couple hours later we find the cable guy knocking on our door. So hopefully this will be fixed today too. We use the fiber optic cable for the studio and have regular internet down stairs.
@@gingercooklive So happy you got the generator. Glad they fixed the cable. Things are better. If you do an Italian workshop I’m IN 100%. We rented a villa outside Sienna once. Fabulous.
True masterpiece here. Stunning!
Wow, thank you!
thank you for the video is so pretty 👍👍👍
Hey thanks for the positive comment and appreciate the feedback.
I love the reference where did that come from?
We start with photos from our trip to Italy last year, and then run them through several highend AI programs
