There have been many questions about how Shockoe Sessions is produced. Here's some insight. It is switched and mixed live in Studio A at In Your Ear Studios with only a short sound check immediately before showtime. It's always live! Every once in a while we'll go back and touch up something afterwards, but that's rare and we don't change much at all. Actual Post-production is reserved for when the show is not from In Your Ear Studios, but at a live venue such as the Hippodrome, Reveler or Broadberry here in Richmond. We love focusing on doing the show live which means anything can happen which makes for a more challenging, energetic and honest show. Shockoe Sessions are always fun to attend and watch because they're a little dangerous! If your interested in tickets or more technical information, leave your comments below.
