Mabuhay! From the Philippine Islands. Thanks for your integrity & honesty as Wholistic Dentist. I just pray many dentists are like you. God will surely bless you as you bless others through your career. Amen.
I am so grateful for your information. I've asked before, but unfortunately, I have lost your response. Besides eating calcium rich foods like green vegetables, which type of calcium is good for an oral supplement? I am a very bad night grinder (Bruxism and TMJ), and I want to do everything that I can to protect my teeth. I wear a bottom custom made night guard. I've heard that they make one that just covers the front teeth? Are these any good? I am lucky, and I have excellent dental hygiene. I wish I didn't grind. I have actually lost teeth due to this. Thank you! Stay well! 😊
Take Vitamin D3 and K2 no need for a calcium supplement if you have a good diet, Vit D deficiency also plays a role in bruxism as can sleep apnoea. Te guards that just go on the front teeth are terrible - they can cause detrimental changes to your bite.
@@EvolveDentalHealing Thank you! I take 5,000 IUs of Vitamin D daily, but I will add K2. Thank you, and good to know about the front night guard piece! I am lucky that I don't get migraines from the tight tension in my jaw. I started taking magnesium chelate at night. TI'm trying to relax it as much as possible. I am a very happy person, so I don't know why I grind so much at night. I don't have sleep apnea, so that's good. Thanks again for spreading such great knowledge! I love your channel! 👏
that is correct the grooves are prone to becoming porous and get stained. It is not decay so no need to drill anything away as that would damage your healthy tooth. If the grooves are deep you can get fissure sealants placed to cover over the staining if it bothers you how it looks.
my daughter just chipped the front of her tooth. she has no cavities. all perfect teeth except today she chipped it playing with a dog. it's on the tip of her front tooth. I don't see no hairline crack. what is the best thing to do without having the dentist bond her teeth. you cannot really see it unless you do a close up.
Always wise to get a dentist to check to make sure all ok with an incident like this. The tooth will need monitoring to make sure the nerve hasn't been affected. With a small chip you can leave it or ask the dentist to smooth it or as you say do bonding.
