I always go back to what he said at the end of ocarina of Time when all the sages grab them and threw them into Twilight world as long as I have the triforce of power he's a descendant the King of evil he will always come back unless they can somehow get the damn thing off of him not even the goddamn guardians in the Twilight room could do anything he killed them he killed one if I'm correct so I'm just as curious as everybody else botw 2😎🔥💯
To me i dont think that this is canon. Unlike the other Zelda games that were fully under Nintendo's control, this one is still made by Koei Tecmo even if the Zelda team helped. Idk, ill wait, the next Zelda game we know is BotW 2 which is a direct sequel to BotW
You know... on the web there's a fanfiction that predicted this incipit of all Hyrule united against Ganon, with Purah being able to teleport the entire army on Hyrule Field... only that it was set in botw botw, so no time travel, or Yiga clan allying with the goodies.

They should've saved this time travel plot for BotW2. It's way more logical to go back in time in the sequel to prevent the ruin that was done and then have that Endgame moment in the end than to do it in the prequel, which should've just told the story of how they failed.
Hard disagree. There are already people that don't like the time travel plot as is. Can you imagine if they did in BOTW 2? The backlash would be insane. This is fine as a happy ending version of the events before BotW. BotW 2 should be something different that expands and continues from 1.

@@TheMarionick I would say that it's less that they didn't have the balls since the characters are actually dead in BotW and more that the type of story that BotW prequel is is better suited toward an actual Zelda game than a Hyrule Warriors spinoff. In a game where you are supposed to feel OP as you mow down bosses and enemies, losing every fight via cutscene after spending time to grind in this game would just prove unsatisfying to the majority of people to play. There would be no point in the gameplay or trying so hard to beat it. Also, the lack of characters to play and switch to that an actual prequel would present would make anybody that actually plays Warriors games scoff. The events before BotW were very bleak and short and putting that in a Warriors game would cause a lot of people to ask, "What's the point?" I do agree on one thing though. Nintendo shouldn't have advertised it as a prequel to BotW. They did show the time traveling guardian so they got a loophole around false advertising, but they fooled a lot of people into thinking this would actually show what happened before. We all know why they did it though. How many people would buy a game that's advertised as a prequel to a beloved game versus a game that's said to be an alternate retelling of said prequel?

It is alluded that Kohga survived but his most loyal servent Soopah has fallen in this battle. Out of anger he has sworn against Ganon, because Astor and Ganon played dirt on the Yiga Clan and since all Yigas follow Kohga without hesitation, he joined the Kingdom of Hyrule to get his revenge on Ganon since Ganon and Astor took away his most loyal servant.

Best check the story from the beginning. Age of Calamity is an alternate what-if timeline where Hyrule and its inhabitants do succeed in defeating Calamity Ganon. So there's some major differences in how things play out.
