Off topic... Is that the instinct 2? Is it the solar? What are you thoughts on the solar. I've had my instinct 2 for a while now but it was stolen. Not sure, if I should get the solar or stick to the regular. (Your watch)
Good question. Yes that is the instinct. It is not solar. I did buy a solar version for my friend and he loves it! But I can’t comment on whether it’s worth it or not. But they are fantastic watches. It’s funny, I do all of these reviews and videos and that’s the number one question I get from folks! Haha..

@provide_protect Oh, okay. Cool thanks. I'm gonna just get the regular instinct 2 again. I enjoyed it for the last 2 years. Thank you for the reply.
@@raymondromero2840 Absolutely!
Hello, is there a way to disable the bleep sound? I have a pair of these but hate the noise every time I let off the talk button.
@@twocrazyhens I haven’t found a way to do that. Personally, I appreciate that bleep sound. Helps me know when the call is going off/on.
Yes there is a way
@@sussybaka6451 Good! Thanks.
Just bought me some
I hope you enjoy them!
Range in a hilly forest?
I haven’t personally tested the max range, but I have been able to get up to a mile easily. I live in very hilly terrain.
2w vhf radio should reach 4mi.
@@SomeGuy-vo7we Thanks!
30 mile range???
I seriously doubt it could…even line of sight. But I didn’t test that part.
this radio is for a job site one block range
you would get 20 miles on a radio with G M R S not 30 what you would get is
one block by one block on a job site. that is what DeWalt stand's for
@ It depends on the frequency.
@ I do think that’s the idea. However, in certain applications, I do think I could go farther.
