Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition and disability which causes involuntary movements called tics. I use my platforms on social media such as TikTok, TH-cam and Instagram to advocate and raise awareness for the condition and show what it is like living with a disability as a teen in school.
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a seizure disorder (NEAD/NES).
I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school and college, vlog, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions in Q and A videos.
I am also an ambulatory wheelchair user so I show what life looks like using various mobility aids and how needs change from day to day!
I am also a musician! My newest release is my first single (original song) called "She's Mine" which is now available on all streaming services - I sing and play piano, guitar, ukulele and I write, produce, mix and master all my own songs and content myself!
I'm almost finished with my first draft of my second novel. First one was published about two years ago and I've been writing my second one for a few months (I had quite a few writing blocks because of health) but I'm so glad I've almost finished my first draft. Then it's editing to get my second draft done, then edit once more. (I like to work in threes) Also, don't feel scared to write some spicy scenes! I wrote a few spicy ones in my first book and my parents AND psychologist read it.

Just a question as somebody wanting to write a novel: What is the best and most creative way to start a novel/book (in your opinion)?
plan!! i made mood boards, Pinterest boards for each character, gave them quirks and assigned actors to each one so i could better visualise them. then i brain dumped every scene i wanted to add to the book (using the notion app so i could easily reorganise the order) and made a sort of timeline checklist of each scene and over time added all my ideas/notes/dialogue/scenes lines to each scene bullet point as i think of things during the process :)
I'm 14 years old and I decided to write my book, I have written 9200 words I'm 3 days and I'm on page 30 on my book, I'm very proud

“POTS clinic”?? You have POTS? Or at least you’re getting tested for it? I don’t know why I didn’t connect the dots there with the other videos of yours I’ve watched so far. I have mild POTS, so I don’t faint, although sometimes I feel like I’m going to. I drink a V8 almost every day to keep my blood volume up. Drinking caffeine helps a lot because it constricts blood vessels and increases my blood pressure, but as soon as I’m off of it I can barely walk.
Anyway. I hope/wish you didn’t have it, it sucks, but it’s cool to find someone relatable. I don’t know anyone else that has it.
