Wow, finally, it's here, I have been waiting for this interview. You nailed it, Dolphin surpassing my expectations by a wider margin. This channel will never be the same again. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Love infrastructure projects ! lets keep it moving. Great work and currently doing a lot of alternative delivery projects in California . Glad to see PPP being done . The job opportunities for Kenyans will be great
No cutting corners… No brown envelopes here!! That is soo cool 👏👏👏. Time to have a project that brings real value!! 5 contractors on the corridor! Kudos.
How exactly are we gonna be able to invest in this project. 2ndly, where can I find the road plan or the map of the road. Please kindly find this Qs for me. Thank you.
It is timely to have such projects. I wish they ran this all the way to Busia border or Kisumu for that matter because from Kisumu to Busia there's already a planned project to dual the highway.
Thats was wonderful interview. You covered almost every aspect of the road works. I loved the content and I joined the family officially today. I didn't hear well is it six or eight lane?
5 or 30years? and France with Nairobi-Nakuru highway which has failed to start for decades!!!...Luckily I've studied true African history and not the heavily redacted and white-washed one in our collective compromised curriculums. So unlike many, I know how this is going to end if at all it ever begins. The plan of Africa never rising to challenge the status quo with it's vast resources is real and has been active ever since the hoax independence and hijacked democracy. Puppets in leadership positions rule/govern everywhere black people exist.

I'm a great fun of you. A good interview this one is. I like the way you've engaged Amb. Kyle and the way he has candidly taken you through the whole journey towards the realization of this ambitious mega project. However, there is a point I wish you had raised. Amb. Kyle has disclosed that they are building a completely new toll NBi-Msa expressway. However I'd like to know the exact starting and end point of this new road . Does it start from Machakos turn-off to Mariakani or where exactly does it start and end coz I understand Kwa Jomvu-Mariakani section of Mombasa-Nairobi highway is already under construction. Kindly find out. Thanks.
Lovely interview. I love the quality of the questions. It will be nice to see the artistic impression of the road once they are done with feasibility study
Nice content, did he share more on the operation of the road. Are we going to have tracks on that road too? I hope soon enough after it's complete, these guys can join hands and have a single payment system.... Because I believe there more express ways coming.... A single payment card for all will be wonderful 👍
Truly hoping and praying that this materializes. But Usahihi must comply with all PPP laws to the comma, what is happening with Adani is really something they must avoid. Am very happy they are making everything transparent, they need to continue doing more of this.
Maybe the big trucks and lorries can use the old highway. That will minimize slow traffic and accidents . 120 kmph may be a bit fast at first though. Looking forward to it. Cities will really grow with this, not just already congested Nairobi.
@@TheKamikraze not true. Its a private/public partnership and they are putting up the bulk of the money and it will be paid back in tolls, plus the number of new towns that will spring up along the highway. Nairobi did not exist till the British decided to run a railway line to Kampala where more organized kingdoms where. Think about that! you don't have to use it.
You see how Americans think. Why can't he take over JKIA with his ideas. You see he talks about shared prosperity. Not about the company but talks of win win gains for Kenyans. This is how PPP's should be done. Wish govt can ask him to relook the PPP laws in Kenya with emphasis on local beneficiaries. His company and JKIA including local investors like banks and pension funds can do the same for JKIA. This way Kenyans own a share of JKIA with benefits being felt immediately for Kenyans instead of after 30yrs.
@dolphine254 I got a parcel out somewhere there so make sure ume capture what plans they have for investors like us wenye wako from out of tge boundary
Do we need a road to mombasa or from Nairobi to kisumu malaba then narrow road in kimende through to naivasha towards nakuru is sickening esp in December
Imagine if this guy was President of Kenya. Kenya would transform in five yrs. But what we have like Morara said Kenya lucks quality leadership. I will quote what Morara posted on a youtube post. "The problem with African leaders is that those who possess ideas on leadership are not in power, while those in power often lack any real understanding of leadership". The only person with quality leadership, who understands what leadership means; that could have transformed Kenya had he been given time during his younger and vibrant years was Kibaki had he been the successor of Jomo Kenyatta. But when Kibaki took leadership; it was later in his years and despite his health issues he still performed. But time was not on his side. had he been president the same time Moi was President 24yrs, Kibaki would have transformed Kenya immensely. he had the values, ethics and not greedy and of course a tremendous visionary. Unlike what we have now a Kleptocrat who sees the Presidency first as now its my time to eat and the Kenyan people are an after thought. Sad times indeed
The West on infrastructure in Africa is all talk no action, they would rather fund human rights (LGBTQ) & anything that doesn't create sustainable development.
I wish they could add a solar panels component to balance the climate implications of fossil fuels and provide a possibility for charging stations for future electric cars. Maybe see if Saccos could be invited to invest in sections of the road.
USA has always criticized china belt and road. China did the old road & expressway from JKIa to Westy. Usa trying to outshine China to Coast. Its like the game of XOXO block each other on Kenyan Soil. We will only benefit if we are wiser n know the interests of this 2 Nations. Oh woooow we are so loved.
As long as it is going to be a toll road it is a personal investment of an individual and they will benefit from it for a long time. 3 billion USD is about 450 billion KES. For how long will they toll Kenyans before it is all done. How long will we be in their chains?
u r dreaming. u think those who conduct fisibility did not see what u r trying to put across?????? what is it that is taken to Uganda via Malaba if its not originating from the mombasa port?????????????????
We don't need such huge project that road only needs to be dual since there's SGR the rest of the cash they want to use and make all major highways dual carriageway.
The Chinese didn't hype before they commenced. 🇨🇳 came in , built thika Road, the water canal in Alego, the expressway in Nairobi and many more projects are ongoing. Hizi za 🇺🇸 ni mbwembwe tu. Hawana lolote.
Why do we need 2 separate roads (pay toll for one and fuel levy for the existing road) with the same origin and destination plus an SGR? Price the goddamn SGR correctly, use it to move goods, then expand Mombasa Road sustainably in phases with a simultaneous ban on heavy goods vehicles which damage the road. The existing road is ok in terms of alignment (you can safely achieve 110kph everywhere on it). It just needs to be expanded, with a few additional overpasses and service roads where it passes through towns and other busy areas. We don't need another expensive road. One will do.
this highway if you have used the super highway will actually enhance the old highway which also can still be expanded by kenha because they own that road
I pray to God that they actualize this project. Nairobi to Mombasa at an average speed of 120km/h would be 4-5hrs
I met with this former ambassador during the Pre-LCOY workshop in Nairobi in 2019, he is really passionate about Kenya and Climate Change
