Thanks Neil, your memories of 1970's Dr Who mirror many of mine, especially my one visit to Blackpool at which my parents got for me a Denys Fisher TARDIS and also purchasing my first Target novelisation ( The Giant Robot ). Great times, what a time to be a kid! Cheers 👍
Great first Episode Neil, and thank you for all the in-depth information and background drawings/illustrations, that help flesh out the exhibits and add to their individual historical relevance. :)
A great video blog Neil, you have that rare quality of making anything you talk about interesting and I can relate to the passion and nostalgia you have because it's mine! Can't wait till my next visit, its going to be a must see every time i come to the UK.
Is that Roger????? That is such a nice comment and so very appreciated. I was worried doing this that I might terminally bore people!!!! I've tried to add a lot of visual content to make it as interesting as possible!
Excellent first episode. Enjoyed your memories of the Blackpool Exhibition (I was lucky enough to go several times over the years due to living in the North West). Interesting to hear more about the Chimerons too, the mask look promising.
Great first episode, Neil. looking forward to seeing the completed mask of the Chimeron. In fact, if they appear again in Dr Who, lets call it, Mask of the Chimeron!
I would love to see you recreate Field Major Styre for the muesum, like how the Doctor Who exhibitions would recreate some monsters. It would make a great addition!
This is a scary video, only because the commentary is basically identical to anything I would have said, nearly identical experiences (although my first my first full story was Planet of the Daleks just before the Green Death, just beat you ha ha!!)! Many happy memories of the Blackpool museum, a trip every other year with my Dad. Looking forward to visiting your museum in a few weeks.

Colin- thanks so much for taking the time and interest. The museum really is a kind of modern-era-cultural history project!!😂

Thanks for taking the time to watch it Gareth😊- the little museum I've managed to make is basically a tribute to that childhood memory!

Yes Peter....a shared cultural experience!!!!! Be great to catch up!
Not to knock the Northumberland exhibit but Blackpool was/is a very natural fit for a sci fi museum.
