Thanks for posting this! I recently was tasked with creating an illustration of the Garm, but having been a young boy at the time of the original airing, I scarcely remembered him. There are some screenshots online but most of them are not great, either too far away or not showing all of the figure. Your video with its many close-up images really answered some questions of mine regarding the design. Can't wait to see him once you finish the arms up. I wish you continued luck with your reconstruction and museum!

This is a great way to show the history of the prop, its journey around England to where it was found is absolutely fascinating, I hope if you have time to do more of these, I never made it to any of the exhibitions sadly so I'm looking forward to seeing this museum next summer.

I agree Neil, I love Terminus and the Garm was a great character, i love the Target novelization of the story also and i think the novel is even better than the show. This was a fantastic video and very enlightening, I hadn't realized the ancient history of the character as a guardian which now makes the story even more special, I particularly remember the scene in the book when the Doctor asked the Garm to stop the lever that was going to fire the engines, i have rarely felt that kind of intensity in the written word, especially in a book written for children. Fantastic and informative as always mate, thank you!

Just thank you for taking the time to watch it Roger! It actually took faaaar longer to complete than I anticipated!!! Once I started looking more into the character....I uncovered new bits and pieces so had to lengthen the vid! I just heard that the Garm actually made an appearance in Glasgow (DOH!) making my little travelog instantly incomplete!!!! I absolutely agree about the end of Terminus with the Garm and the lever....we never truly find out what the character thinks, but he is clearly trying to help the lazars!

@@neilcole8306 nothing is ever complete Neil, just like your museum, it'll be forever changing as you add to it and find out more about the props you own, the history of the collection will always continue to grow and evolve which is the way it should be!
