I just started using various herbs in various ways.
    Hibiscus - clarifying shampoo
Rosemary - hair oil. I saw results (thicker hair) so I added more herbs to the mix (moringa, thyme, peppermint and pimento). Just started using the oil last week. The results I have seen so far is a much earlier detangling process.

High porosity. Carrier oil - olive. In a glass jar soak fenugreek seeds. I'm lazy so I leave the seeds in the oil in dark space, cabinet, for at least a week. Then heat the oil in the glass jar in a water bath on low simmer for about 10 to 20 minutes, then adding Alma and other ingredients as I see fit, primarily castor and EO, what's ever on hand. Let the oil cool and put in a dark colored bottle with a dropper, usually brown.

I would absolutely LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE a chemist's take on the best way to infuse the oils. Some recommend double boiling for a bit of time to warm everything. Some recommend roasting the fenugreek first. Some recommend only slow steeping in sunlight. Others say once steeped, store in the dark while others recommend continuing to let it sit in sunlight as you use the product.
It would be really nice to know the scientific perspective on how heat aids infusion vs breaking down essential nutrients and what is a good balance of the two. Thanks!

@@SaveMeFromUSA interesting read but not a whole lot of tips for a DIYer who's just trying to get the most nutrients out of a DIY infusion. A lot of your videos recommend making these oils. I have used Fenugreek (Seeds and powder) and Amla for 2 to 3 years. I started by using Fenugreek as a spritz but it make my hair hard and crunchy as in protein overload.
I then cook Fenugreek seeds, blend them to a paste that I use in my deep conditioner with Amla powder. I also infuse both Amla and Fenugreek powders in oil and use that in my pre-poo routine.
When I use Fenugreek my shedding is significantly reduced almost instantaneously.

I love Ambunu, Amla, hibiscus, Rhasoul, shikaka, cassia, and Bhringraj. Cassia and Bhringraj will strengthen the hair like henna. Bhringraj, Rhassoul, shikakai hibiscus, and ambunu have soapanins in them that allow them to clean the hair. Hibiscus, rose and aloe Vera powder will condition the hair. Ambunu is also good for detangling the hair. I recently put the Ambunu liquid in a color applicator bottle with a comb. It helped me get the liquid to my roots where I need them most.

You could use gel as well. I aim for 5 on that scale(I got my strips on Amazon) You could use slippery elm too but I didn't have it.

I used Ashwaganda, amla and fenugreek for my hair oil but heating them in pan for a few secs(low heat) and then adding 1 cup coconut oil and half a cup of avocado oil and half a cup olive oil until melted. Let it cool. Put it in a brown bottle and leave it for at least a week. Use cheesecloth and and fine mesh sieve to drain the herbs away and put into a separate container. Use can use it to infuse hald of your oil for longer or use it for another day treatment. Just make sure all your utensils are dry so no funny business happens with the oils. (This was inspired by Curly Proverbs btw)

    1. Could I simply use niacin powder (like from a capsule) in an oil? Also

    3. I have fenugreek capsules (powder). Is it ok to infuse this powder into oil instead of the seeds?
In the future, would u consider addressing whether pumpkin seed oil is a good DHT blocking option as well as the benefits of carrot seed oil for hair? Thanks!

The next day, I apply the tea to my hair post wash, massage my scalp, apply deep conditioner and then sit under a hooded steamer for 30 minutes. I've been doing this for at least 8 months and would never got back! Only thing I can add is that chebe can break you out and clog pores so I make an infused oil and mix it with mango butter for twist outs, ect then amla and fenugreek oil for the scalp with tea tree and rosemary.. it's freaking mint!!! I liken the surface of the almond shell and the small prominent holes on this surface to the scalp and hair follicle holes.
I liken the green cover of almonds to hair.
Almond oil can be ideal for hair.
Eating almonds can also nourish the hair from the inside.
The green texture covering the almonds is not like walnut or hazelnut shell, because the green texture of the almond has a soft and palpable texture reminiscent of fine hairs.
There are long and thread-like thin tissues inside the almond shell.(I don't know if all almond varieties are the same.)
(when the almond bark is cracked, we notice these fine threadlike textures)
These fine textures are like hair strands.
Seeds that are shiny black like the hair of a young person: nigella sativa
Plant with long tassels like hair: garlic
spice that resembles hair root anatomy: clove
Can Black Black Cumin restore the natural color of the hair strand and make the hair look shiny and lively?
Do garlic cloves nourishing the white tassels of garlic work for clean scalp and clean hair follicles?
Can the clove plant, which looks like a strand of hair standing upright with its root, revive and straighten the thinning and weakened hair?
What kind of result do I get when I mix garlic, clove and black seed oil and apply it to my hair?
I liken each part of the walnut, which consists of two fatty food tissues, to the thyroid gland.
If the problem is in the thyroid gland, walnuts can be useful.
(I do not know English. I hope I was able to form correct and understandable sentences.)

I love your videos, and thank you for sharing your knowledge. In every video I’ve seen about chebe, the influencer said to only apply it to the length of the hair and not the scalp. We’ve been told that the chebe may irritate the scalp and is only used to keep the hair moist and help retain length. My question is, if chebe contains taspine and quercetine (which promote hair growth), how can growth be stimulated if it’s not applied to the scalp? I am using a diy which contains amla, fenugreek and many other herbs. I have had a lot of growth, but can’t say whether it’s attributed to those two ingredients or a combination of everything I do.🙂

I haven't use them before but whether it's in powder form or the seeds/leaves, you can put them in a Mason jar and add oil/s to it (cold method). Or you do it over the stove (hot method).
You soak the fenugreek seeds then use the water to spray your hair.
You can also add them in a hair mask. For this, it best to add the powder form of any of the three. The DIY hair oil should work too. Best to test the results to find the better method.
