Josh's comment on the 45:29 really is important. I've only been bass fishing for 3 years and I definitely feel it already in the knees. Great video, these are all the questions I would ask as a new bass angler as well.
4:53 I cannot emphasize this enough!! I actually learned this off of one of your older videos about skipping the magdraft under docks!! and in that same video you said the same thing about throwing away from the bank and fishing the swimbait uphill keeping it in the strike zone more.. man is that helped my swimbait fishing game a Lot!!! Especially in tournaments... By getting around those old docks and throwing in front of them and then retrieving uphill inside of the dock, so skipping under the dock but out through the front of it from the bank and then swimming that bait uphill back towards the bank absolutely CRUSHES!!! I cannot emphasize on anybody who reads this enough on positioning your boat or just in general throwing out away from the bank and retrieving your swimbait uphill back towards the bank!!!
Josh Jones entering a pro tournament without forward facing sonar, competing against oldschool anglers, will be like a punk going to the penitentiary wearing a thong! 😂
28:30 mark….id say this true…I fish a good size lake/pond (has a stunt going on) but I hooked in to a 7.10 on a flat easter Sunday and then two weeks later with the eclipse caught a 5+ on the rock on the damn. Water temps were still in the low 70s mid 60s depending on the day and dirty dirty. I saw the 5 with another fish 10ft a way doing the same thing and this was on the flat part of the dam where the ramp is. The 7+ was on the opposite side in the only man made drainage and is really silted in and just a long tapering point so a long flat to the ramp before the dam starts. Also go area to fish for blue Gil spawn when you get the cruisers getting revenge on eating bass fry lol
Josh Thank you for your time and teaching us Your answers were the same on Bass After Dark Can’t wait to use what I’ve learned from you Dave from Atlanta D.D. Only
Yeap, we all get into slumps, anyone says they don't. Their full of it! I was in a bad slump last year. Then broke my PB multiple times & had best 2 months fishing of my life. I caught multiple 5 & 6's, a 7.4 - 8.05 - 8.6 - 9.3 & 11.4 all in short time. It was amazing! Fast-forward to today, I've been in a slump sense mid spring again. I've caught fish, nothing bigger than a 4.8 I lost a 7-8 pounder on father's day. Which still hurts but it's goty confidence up, thinking I'm getting back on that big bite again? I sure hope so just gotta stay positive & trust your gut
Those high school tournaments should absolutely limit the amount of electronics so these kids have a somewhat equal playing field so the rich kids don’t have that advantage.
If Seth cannot tour anymore, that is a huge problem. He is a big name, big brand. Its crazy to think because of FFS that guy can go from AOY to non touring within a few years.
Just like a cat pounces on a mouse to kill it… Reeling a crank bait really fast with a sudden pause triggers them big girls to eat.🐟🐟🐟💦 DD75 Deep crank bait and 8.1 reel mmmhmmm
Consult with a trout angler named Steve Parrot. His DVD that outlined reasons as to why, the cover the water school of thinking, also has it's own drawbacks and limitations.
I got to disagree with knowledge of FFS beating knowledge of the lake 95% of the time. Maybe 60/40 I’ve seen it multiple times where someone will out fish someone scoping.
What is Chris smoking? I have caught tons of swimbait fish on spinning gear. Granted you have to jump on the bigger series reels but a lot of times they work better. Matter of fact how many double digits did Ben Miliken and Josh jones catch at OH Ivey when 6th Sense was there ? Wasn’t there actually some teeners ?
Love how Chris skipped the part of the question in which he was asked how many graphs he runs. Typical. Talk about how ridiculous and unnecessary it is, yet has 5 or 6 graphs and multiple transducers on his rig. Just keep it real at least. This is people's biggest gripe with CZ. Talks out of both sides of his mouth.
Sure wish there were more role models teaching young anglers that seeing fish, lure, strike live on screen up to 100 ft in front of you is highly unethical and actually cannot even be considered "fishing" anymore. Some things should not be easy. Who's gonna pump the brakes? When? A drone that deploys from bow for precise lure delivery without the need for even casting is also "just another tool".

Thanks for watching. We’ve got a second one we will upload sometime next week

Gracie and Wyatt both use the gear you guys gave them every time we are pin the water
Keep hammering …..
That’s great to hear 👊🏽
Excellent video & information. Great job
Thank you!
Let’s get 2 more hours of Josh talking fishing. Like listening to Brady talk about football. Dude has so much knowledge.

Slumps are definitely apart of the game! Just gotta fish through them
My favorite thing about JJ is his honesty.
I agree. He says it like it is
Great video gentlemen
Thank you Chris!
Josh my brand new Nitro Z20 came with the live active 2 I was glad it was a 2 like you said 😎
Every time I hear JJ talk about losing count of his 10lber catches, I get less and less stubborn about hiring a guild to target Bass.
Lolol
56:00 we call it drumming when we striper fish…people make whole gadgets to make noise while fishing
Chris you gave the juice and could tell with your voice how much you care
A+ grade excellent job
Dave from Atlanta 🐟💦
Awesome video.
Thanks chris an josh great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Josh likes a big worm in his spring and summer patterns… noted😁
Wish Josh would've said what brand mono he prefers.
these kids are asking high level questions
Gets me pumped up to know how much they want to learn the details
Very helpful
Glad to hear that!
Nice!!
Appreciate the support 👊🏽

I think it would be a good call to limit electronics but I’m not sure how they would regulate it
should they also limit 20' bass boats with 250hp engines as well since many are running small aluminum rigs and small outboards?
@@SATMO2930they limit our motors to 250 hp and there’s a minimum length. I think minimum length is 16’
Good episode Guys! And yes, it would be great to see more women in the sport. Dayla, should start a YT channel.
I agree Mick! She’s seems to be taking the right first steps
Why did you delete all the other comments?
Because those comments have nothing to do with this video and what we do with kids in our Q&As each month.
@@Zaldaingerous That’s fair enough 👍
Follow John cox he will show you how to catch them shallow 😮
He’s the master of the shallows
Please upload the bilge podcast back on spotify 🙏
Charles is working on getting all the audio files together
@Zaldaingerous you my friend are an absolute legend!

Totally agree. Local knowledge still beats technology. You see it on every lake.
Leaning from the Z for years… don’t forget the DAM… just sayin😎

Hes talking about 6 8 10" baits that are 3-9 oz etc. Not like keitechs etc.
i said the same thing at first but i realize he’s talking about the big fellas

It is necessary to have multiple graphs on the elites with the rules as is… I also believe they should limit the amount we have.
