Really just kept not giving up on fishing doing everything he could just to fish the next tourney at the beginning and just kept fishing until things just finally broke his way and became a pro just working his way thru. Cox is so mind blowing how tough he is. I have no idea how he can fish the amount of tournaments he does. I would like to see all the times he has been in the money for all the leagues. I know in the last 4-5 years I’ve seen him winning or in the top ten constantly. I’ve been following tournament fishing for forty plus years and I have to rank him up with all the big names. His I don’t give a F what happens, I believe helps his mentally being able to stay calm.

Chiefs fan from Arkansas here. Before the Chiefs won the Super Bowl. The Chiefs lost every playoff game I went to dating back to Elvis Grbac days. The year they won the SB I didn’t attend the playoffs at all. I thought the curse was broken till I went to the Jackonsville game last week. We won, but Pat got hurt🤦🏼♂️. Needless to say I won’t be attending this weekend. This means the Chiefs should win.😀
Benji and Booger Seaborne are close friends and both 🔨's.Benji is one of the smartest fisherman I ever met and a great dude.He was hurt recently and wish him a speedy recovery.John you should come to Upper Bear one night and get it with us😁

I did just get electronics (not live scope) for my kayak, but I love that John makes it work without it. And does it with a light attitude. It's so damn refreshing.

Im going to start filming some of my travel and tourneys this season, my second season doing national kayak events and getting destroyed by Kristine and the minor brothers etc……but its so much fun and Im fishing places Ive only seen on TV and others youtube vids…its a blast. Last year I broke my pb 5 times in smallies and largies and caught my first musky on Susquehanna, etc. I got to meet Palaunik and Kyle at Santee when I was practicing for the Hobie that was weekend after bassmaster elites…it was great. So Im gonna try and do something with the channel this year. Love your channels and show man!!

What a run you're on Mercer! But at least we know about Cox inability to be negative now. He's literally damaged his brain with that head injury and no longer has the ability to think negative lol. But I adore Cox and he's our guy for those of us who still oppose forward facing sonar. Like Cox I did finally get it a couple months ago but haven't put it on and aren't looking forward to it. I believe it's literally destroying this sport I love. However I love fishing and will do what it takes to compete locally for now. I also think I could tell Dave doesn't care for it much but he can't say much considering his position. Anyway the only thing I wish would have been asked is. If Cox really didn't have a cranking rod until he started throwing the frittside? I believe he probably didn't buy what an amazing pure fisherman to have won so much with basically a couple shallow water techniques. Thanks guys and amazing show as usual.

No problem, no part of me thinks you are being that guy 😂. No questions are off limits with me. I actually have watched Feherty. I think he is an incredible interviewer & a great personality. But other than the fact that we are both having conversations with friends that are pros in our respective sports I don’t see the similarities. I am a Chicago Bears fan but the refs won the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl for the Chiefs. They gave the Chiefs an extra down against the Bengals and called a terrible holding call late in the Super Bowl. But on a lighter side, I really enjoy your show!
He has had a few fights. I believe they were in scored exhibition matches so there is no winner. But Jake will be back on here in a few weeks so I will make sure he updates us all.

I know in the last 4-5 years I’ve seen him winning or in the top ten constantly. I’ve been following tournament fishing for forty plus years and I have to rank him up with all the big names. His I don’t give a F what happens, I believe helps his mentally being able to stay calm.

Chiefs fan from Arkansas here. Before the Chiefs won the Super Bowl. The Chiefs lost every playoff game I went to dating back to Elvis Grbac days. The year they won the SB I didn’t attend the playoffs at all. I thought the curse was broken till I went to the Jackonsville game last week. We won, but Pat got hurt🤦🏼♂️. Needless to say I won’t be attending this weekend. This means the Chiefs should win.😀

Im going to start filming some of my travel and tourneys this season, my second season doing national kayak events and getting destroyed by Kristine and the minor brothers etc……but its so much fun and Im fishing places Ive only seen on TV and others youtube vids…its a blast. Last year I broke my pb 5 times in smallies and largies and caught my first musky on Susquehanna, etc. I got to meet Palaunik and Kyle at Santee when I was practicing for the Hobie that was weekend after bassmaster elites…it was great. So Im gonna try and do something with the channel this year. Love your channels and show man!!

What a run you're on Mercer! But at least we know about Cox inability to be negative now. He's literally damaged his brain with that head injury and no longer has the ability to think negative lol. But I adore Cox and he's our guy for those of us who still oppose forward facing sonar. Like Cox I did finally get it a couple months ago but haven't put it on and aren't looking forward to it. I believe it's literally destroying this sport I love. However I love fishing and will do what it takes to compete locally for now. I also think I could tell Dave doesn't care for it much but he can't say much considering his position. Anyway the only thing I wish would have been asked is. If Cox really didn't have a cranking rod until he started throwing the frittside? I believe he probably didn't buy what an amazing pure fisherman to have won so much with basically a couple shallow water techniques. Thanks guys and amazing show as usual.

Was it intentional to make the basic format of this show so similar? Love the show, not trying to be that guy but I'd love to know.

I actually have watched Feherty. I think he is an incredible interviewer & a great personality.
