This works for me every time and worked for me this is solid information and does work it will turn the VSC light check engine light and the traction control light off.
I've performed several different ways to reset the lights. But the only problem is that if your O2 sensors are bad or the traction control sensors are bad, the lights will return. I'm not and auto mechanic, but boilers and mechanical equipment seem to be similar with problem lights. If the sensors are bad, the lights will keep coming on. But if it is just s computer reset issue, it will probably work.

Your procedure didn’t work for 2004 GX470! For GX470, use pins 4th from right (5th from left), top & bottom. Turn to On (do not start), tap one of the pins 7 times, indicator will blink fast. Turn vehicle off. Bridge both pins (put both wires in), turn vehicle on (do not start), leave vehicle in on position 3-5 seconds, turn off. Start car, indicator will flash and go off, VSC calibrated to 0. Works every time. This procedure was necessary after replacing brakes, alignment, low battery voltage, brake fuse or brake lights (error never cleared automatically).
No offense but I couldn’t understand what you did or how you did it. Might be good to start from the beginning before you stick wires anywhere. Also it doesn’t help much if you don’t show the problem when it’s active. Then we can watch it get fixed.
Have an ‘08 Sienna XLE. had all these random misfire codes (VSC) and even would have to shut my van down as the “traction control” light would blink along with the engine light causing the van to lose power and decrease in speed, till I shut it off and restarted it. And that would take care of it for a week or so then back again, usually one the Highway. So off to the shoulder again as the van would slowly lose power and buck and gas be basically unresponsive Seems like maybe the compression was changing over the 200,000 miles as i started putting premium gas in and the higher octane was the key.. as all the codes went away (once cleared) and never came back. Same spark plugs. I did change one injector (before I switched to premium gas) as it did have that code come up for the number 2. But the check engine lights would still come on. But same spark plugs on all 6 cylinders as those back are just too hard to change without a good reason. Again premium gas and all my check engine lights and blinking lights are a thing of the past and it’s nice having a dash free of those. (Those lights came on probable a dozen times in the past. But now problem solved for like 9 months now and counting.

vcs light all depends on the car and if the obd plug is facing up or down be carefull. toyota have the plugs on both ways on their cars.
