  • Near our Airbnb is the Papaseea Sliding Rocks. When we get there, there isn't anyone else to show us where is safe, and where is not. The boys explore to find the most fun, and safe slides in the area. Some are super fun, but some don't end as well. The falls are beautiful in the area, there are many different sets that we capture from the air and from the water. The whole family has fun here. The little kids swim in the rock pools, which the teens slide down the rocks. The parents and grandparents watch from above. We thoroughly enjoyed the Papaseea Rock Slides.

Is Samoa and American Samoa two different countries?

Yes. American Samoa (Eastern Samoa) is a Territory of the US whilst the Independent State of Samoa (formerly Western Samoa) is a sovereign nation. Both group of islands were divided by the "big powers" involving the US, Great Britain & Germany at the dawn of the 20th Century.
