Manono Island, Samoa: Your PERFECT Holiday Destination!

Manono, Samoa, this small and traditional island lies in the Apolima Strait and separates the islands of Upolo and Savaii'. Although it is only 4 kilometers from Upolo, Manono seems like it is a world away as you step into the true, traditional Samoan lifestyle. There are no cars or dogs, but plenty of beaches, unbelievable snorkeling and swimming in the marine-protected lagoon, and one of the most beautiful private islands we have ever enjoyed!
Come enjoy a day with us as we discover this beautiful island, snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, enjoy delicious Samoan food, and even see a whole fever (that means group) of sting rays or squadron of manta rays! It was a day never to be forgotten.
If you would like to visit Manono Island you can reach out to the Samoan Tourism Authority (www.samoa.travel/). There is no set timetable for boats between the islands: simply head to the Manono-uta wharf next to Le Vasa Resort and arrange a trip on-site for the day. You can also kayak the 4 kilometers to Manono with tour operators.
