i would love to see more artist today, who's voices and songs are Patti, Whitney's and Celines, and Shirly Bassey level, we have artist who are but they dont have the songs to make them popular, Aritist like Keke Wyatt, Glennis Grace, Debra Cox, thier voices are clean, clear and powerful like Celine and Whitney, im not sure about their techniques, but the power, clarity & tone is certainly there, they just need the songs, Jennifer Hudson almost made wihen she Performed "You Pulled Me Through " live but not sure what blocked her. that was a massive performance... People were standing up in tears, and joy as if it was a Celine or Whitney show. and also when she did that country tribute "I Believe" . but something changed and she became what seems like just a highly requested cover & tribute artist.
Every time Whitney was up it quickened my heart and Lisa is so so incredible and the Queen Aretha's catalog speaks for itself. I wish that One Moment In Time was accessible. It's so brilliant and captivating and masterful.
